You should try a Sig P228.
Are you in some alternate universe?
The service pistols I like the best and shoot the best tend to be various versions of the CZ75. I got a Sig P229 recently, and that is rapidly moving towards second place.
Beretta 92fs Vertec, (I like that grip a bit better than the normal 92 grip), the HK P2000sk because it just bonds to my hand in a special way and a new but very impressive Canik TP9sfx with a Vortex sight. My old eyes really enjoy this set up. Last but not least is my HK P7M8 because it is so unique and easy to shoot well.
Lots of others are fun but these are the special ones.
At one point I had four BHP's (along with a CZ-75 Compact 'Cousin'). Now I'm down to a few. Still love them, just don't want them getting messed up with daily carry.
For carry gun, probably my Shield .45
1911 in general.
Maks are fun for an inexpensive gun.
favorite full-size 9mm pistols to shoot ... So in that case, for me, it's gotta be (currently) the masterpiece SIG P-226 Legion SAO. Superb ergonomics, top-notch accuracy, awesome sights and a splendid trigger.
My favorite range gun is my old duty gun, 4506-1. That thing still shoots like a laser after all these years and 1000s of rounds. Not one malfunction either. Never.
Number 2 would be this Taurus 92. Its a clone of the Beretta, made in the old Beretta plant in Brazil. Its metal framed, hammer fired, well put together and accurate. When I need a big semi auto this is the one. I have every confidence in it.
There's your trouble. The CZ75 or BHP is where it's at....... or for striker fired/ pre-sprung DA, look at the CZ P10 or one of the Walthers.
I only have one semi-auto pistol, and it's a CZ75.
My next one is going to be a 2011 from RIA in 10mm
LOVE the Glock G42, Really like the Sig P365, want to date a Sig 320.
