From just a quality standpoint, the Korth and Pistol Dynamics pretty much take the cake on that list.

The Wilson Supergrades are very nice, but nothing overly special, in my opinion.

Instead of posting a 2 yr old price list from Earls Repair, aka Korthusa. Whom imported for Walther and Korth as proof..

    http://korthwaffen.de/
You will not find the semi-auto on their site anymore. Nor USA having a distributor..

Korth never made the 45ACP version. There were a couple of prototypes. One is in a private collection and the other is at Korth USA.

It's not something you can order (and expect to actually get). Korth has built less than 300 pistols in all calibers and only two 45s, both are prototypes.

Korth USA has not received any semi autos from Germany in about 10 years. They do have a couple in stock at about $10,000 a piece.

Can tell us more about the quality of Korth from personal experience?

They certainly live up to their reputation. Quality is simply top notch in every way. I also have a Korth Combat 357 revolver and it's truly amazing how well that gun is built.

My Sig X-5 TAC is black and my SIG P-210 is blue, so I voted for the Scandic Blue gun.

The scanhic blue in gold trim is certainly worth the look.

I had to go with Pistol Dynamics. Paul makes some pretty fine weapons. So does Claudio at Briley.

    I'd probably go with a mint P7 M8 w/ HK/Nill grips.

"Pretty fine" would be the understatement of the year. :p

Paul builds of the best 1911s in the world. I'm the pride owner of the first Signature model he produced on his in-house frames, hence the serial # SIG1001.

If you go to his website and look at the pictures page, my gun is there. I ordered it in 2007, got it two years later.

I know this is kind of a 1911 fanboy site but I'm surprised that a majority of people would rather have a 1911 than a machine gun.

Indeed, throwing a couple of select-fire pistols into the works kind of obfuscates the discussion. I voted for the Beretta 93R because by the time you're talking that kind of cash, you might as well go for something truly unusual. Plus, I'm one of those Neanderthals that doesn't see much of a difference between a Wilson Combat and a Norinco.

Limiting myself to the list, I would have selected the Nighthawk 1911 if I was in my usual practical mind. But it I really had money to burn for a "vanity" piece, the Sig Sauer X6 scandic blue is just the right level of ostentatious and obnoxious. :D

I didn't vote because I don't think there is one that deserves my more than any of the others do. They are all phenomenal.
