Your Six Series. Security, Service, and Speed, what do you think of them

I don't know what year started the cutout recoil shield, but my 1978 Speed Six does not have it, IIRC.

yeah i though the same til a guy i do FTF buys from set one aside for me, has nice hogue hardwood mono grips on her, to bad i can't figure out how to post pics on here.

Your 2 3/4 " is a twin to mine with the chrome Tyler T grip and standard grips. Mine started out life as a police duty weapon and then to Vietnam as the carry weapon of a WO flying helicopters. He came back and as he liked my GP 100 and I liked his security six we traded. It is my favorite Ruger.
