I stopped watching television a little over a year ago. Since then I spend much more time searching for media on the internet. I find that much like television and hollywood, you have to trudge thru some pretty gross muck before you find a decent amount of value on the internet. Think about how much useless or offensive content is on television every hour of every day. Now think of how easy it is to air useless or offensive content on the internet. My suggestion is weed out the bad, and share the good. When you see a quality video tell people about it and leave positive feedback.

Off topic, but today a local trooper told me about an old incident in Georgia where a highway patrolman there was shot during a traffic stop. He said it was on youtube, so I searched for and watched it and several others. Real sad stuff right there. Reminds me how much risk those poor folks face each day on the job.
