I don't understand why people would ever post a video of themselves commiting a felony...unless of course there's some rare version of the SKS modified to go full auto that I'm not aware of.

By the way it looks like he is pulling forward with his forward hand, I would say he's bumping.

People do some stupid things, but I'm thinking bumpfire here. It's easy enough to do.

If that's bumpfiring then the guy must be a master at it because I've never seen bumpfiring so smoothly and effortlessly before. I have my doubts about that being bumpfiring, but will remain open-minded until further evidence has been supplied.

Well, the second video is sure setting the case of trigger manipulation thereby making the SKS full auto. I sure hope he did it legally because if he didn't, that will be more to stoke the flames of the anti-gunners. :cuss:

Personally i havent tried bumpfiring , so it s quite easy to accomplice with a little practice, huh.? I guess if one does it all the time its like second nature as in the second video.

I saw an attachment that supposedly works on all semi-auto rifles at the gun show this weekend in Houston. It looked like a piece of spring steel, in the shape of a trigger, that clamps on the trigger guard. When you place the finger in the space between the trigger and the attachment the spring pressures worked aginst each other causing a rapid bump fire. The salesman told me you just have to flow with the recoil.

With the heavy weight of the Yugo SKS, its perfect for an auto fire. It keeps the muzzle from rising that bad. The bayonet , heavy barrel set up and grenade launcher break, does the rest of taming the muzzle flip.

Any possibility that the FA (possibly) SKSs could belong to a SOT?

They can make cool stuff w/o the legal hangups that us mere mortals face.

china, in regards to the SKS took the sks to its limit producing different types, one is the select-fire type 68 which could use the fixed type sks magazine or a magazine similar to the ak47 30 round detachable magazine.

I fall squarely in the redneck category. I have, and quite often do, some of the things in that video. However, why do people feel the need to post stuff like this on YouTube? I just don't get it. What is the purpose?

    2 Things:

    1) Some of those people in the videos are Class 3 SOTs or at least friends of the SOTs, who allow them to shoot there legally modified weapons.

    2) There is a "full auto version of the SKS" called the Type 63/68 and it's made by Norinco. I don't think there are any in "the registry".
