Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Palmetto State Armory has this stuff on clearance for 35 cents per round. Decided to stock up on some, should last a decade or two mostly for function testing and as carry ammo for my 9mm sidearms.
I did the same in 9 and 45 with free shipping it's a steal. It runs great in all my single stacks but the 45 wouldn't feed in my friends fnx45 which is a double stack. I've since read several people saying it won't feed in a double stack. No biggie for me, but worth checking out.

No malfunctions through my Hi-Powers, Beretta 92, PX4, and Sig P365XL so far. 🤞

Haven't tried it in my CZ Shadow 2 yet, but will report back once I do

Do you collect these older scopes? Or will they go on a rifle? Thanks.

Both. I collect old scopes, but almost all of mine go on old rifles too. The Tasco wont as it's a little new for any of my pre 1900 old rifles, and will look out of place. A good number of my old rifles have scope bases on them for target scopes, but I don't add bases to any that don't already have them.
Here's a few of my old single shot rifles:

Love it so cool

The Fecker scope I recently purchased had on front lens cap, so I contacted a fella back in Pa. who makes them for all the obsolete scopes, and asked for one for the Fecker. He asked for ID and OD on the bell end, and less than a week later I got a beautifully made new scope cap!
I asked where to send the money, and was told to try it when I got it first, and then send payment if it fit well. Pretty darn old school service!

I finally got a decent chair for my reloading bench. I have used a generic stool for so long, my tailbone is going to think I stopped reloading when I start using this comfy chair tomorrow. This model has flip up arms and is high enough and adjustable in height to be comfortable at the bench. With ergonomic back, a foot rest and lumbar support for those long days reloading;

Just now ordered another 600 rds. of Lithuanian (new-production, Boxer-primed) .308 from Canoe Club USA. Owned by former Navy SEALs.
If ammo prices are super high now, just wait for the large price spikes during the Next:scrutiny: ammo panic. Not if, but when, and possibly with very little advance notice. Some tragic event could take place Before next November.
----Today's "high ammo prices" actually are Pre-Panic, lower prices, seen in hindsight. Think about it.

And my third FAL rifle finally got delivered by the USPS this morning, May 7th. With the really light trigger, this "Austrian (kit) on Imbel" is even More fun to shoot!
Sidenote: There had been Zero tracking info (neither location nor time) ....from USPS since April 22 🤬 when the rifle departed a town in Arizona.

The ---lady--- FFL ( I would Not want to repeatedly 'irk' a female FFL😯) who originally had shipped the rifle over two weeks ago was finally forced to make a "threat" last Thursday to the Post Office: "..... if they didn't Locate the Missing Rifle within 24 hours...she would Call The ATF!" 😁 Oh I loved reading that from the seller ! Sometimes you should Not be patient, waiting and waiting, with zero info.

o_OSuddenly the rifle arrived about four days later from the US Postal Service Twilight Zone's total darkness! This idea 'of last resort' came from a very popular gun smith who has shipped thousands of guns. This "ATF threat" has worked for a number of people, based on Google 'reports'.

I have this coming. I'm new to the Creedmoor, but it seems like an easy to shoot and easy to load for round, and I need softer shooting and lighter guns now.

It will probably get a camo paint treatment with my dash spray gun.

I fancied a light weight duck gun so I bought the gun in the photo. That's my mate holding as its at his house in the UK. Hope to pick it up in September when I'm back in the UK hopefully picking up a labrador pup

I needed a gun cleaning mat for my large tool bench. I don't like cleaning guns at my reloading bench, and my regular workbench is much larger anyway. Amazon had this one on Flash sale. I liked that it came in a storage tube so I can roll it up when not in use but keep it handy for when I need it. The foam is twice as thick as my previous cleaning mats. I got the largest one they had, 48 x 17, so it works for my pistols and rifles. Three sizes are available. Even at the regular price, I think it's a good value and a nice thick gun cleaning / service mat;

I put a Lee Hand Press on the mat to give you an idea of scale;
