I still ride my Buell Ulysses… looks like a sport touring bike, with 125 hp Harley/Buell power. It confuses people who hear a hot rod Hog but see something else.
But do your neighbors? ;-)I do miss my 66 shovel with it's unbaffled drag pipes.

I remember those Buell bikes in the late 90’s!I still ride my Buell Ulysses… looks like a sport touring bike, with 125 hp Harley/Buell power. It confuses people who hear a hot rod Hog but see something else.
LOL! just LOL!I gotta Sea Doo Jet Ski... it gets kinda good gas mileage... cant wait to see your custom rig...
had a Triump back in the 2000’s best time of my life! 21 yo and didn’t have a care in the worldYou mean like this one? View attachment 1118011
It’s got an S&S 100” motor and Baker 6 speed transmission. Rolling off, the throttle can lock up the rear tire.
My last one is an ‘09.

Hell Rasier!

you must have smelled wonderful after a nice long ride … I had straight pipes once… NOPE, when the ladies are holding their nose because you smelled like a burnt gas can. Cat goes back onThose drag pipes were never even drilled for baffles.

Good TIMES!Any smell goes out behind you. As for the ladies just get the bike up to about 80 for ten or 15 miles and they only have one thing on their mind. They didn't call them Milwaukee vibrators for nothing.
That too, diesel is nuts right now.And $5.50 diesel…
I had loud-assed Samsons on my Street Bob and loved it but nothing sounds quite like the old Shovels, Pans and Knuckles. The new EFI bikes idle too high to sound like that.I do miss my 66 shovel with it's unbaffled drag pipes.
The Durango SRT is my granddaughters daily driver… Launch! The Hellcat IS the "old stuff".
8.1 liter big block that sucks gas like it's free. It also chugs up a grade at 1800rpm while pulling a trailer.
Without the $400 Cummins oil changes or the potential of losing a $20,000 injection pump. Plus, I can fix it.
Man I love my little Tacoma… 19 model TRD Off-road with the long bed. I get 17-ish around here. Seldom drive in town and on the highway it’ll return 19 or better. I’ve never had a better off-road rig stock from the factory except my old Willys CJ5 and that wouldn’t top 55 on the highway. Lived it’s entire life on the ranch and my nephew still putts around in it.Since we're spending $$$, here's a coffee table book recommendation for you Mark.
Packing Iron: Gun Leather of the Frontier West

You might google around for the best price on this book. I bought my copy just a few years ago and don't recall what I spent on it. It wasn't cheap though.
RE your belt size. I also was in the 34-36 inch range in my late 30's to early 40's. Am up to a 38-40 now at age 47. Just a thought, you might get 2 cartridge belts - 1 in 357 and 1 in 45.
Those El Paso Rigs are nice!!!
I use these Galco holsters for my Pietta and Uberti SAA's. They aren't the pretiest things around but are functional.

I have cartridge belts in 357 and 45 from a couple different makers.
When shooting outback of the house, I load up the loops in the cartridge belt, plus throw a few more rounds in my shirt pocket. If I was going to carry them in public I would have at least 12rds in the cartridge belt giving me a reload for each gun.
So a question on your holsters - are you going with 2 strong side holsters (1 right hand holster and 1 left hand holster) or a strong side and a cross draw holster?
RE vehicles: I saw the light and found Jeepus Chrysler. I bought a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Willys JK in February and have been modifying it and wheeling it off road. My best mpg was 18 on flat, straight, Kansas 2 lane highways heading out to Colorado:View attachment 1118125

We picked up a 2nd one for my SO - a pavement princess 2021 JL Sport 2 door. It has the 2.0T engine and gets an astonishing 27.8mpg.

My 3rd vehicle is a 2019 Toyota 4Runner TRD OR that I started off roading with. On a good day it gets 18mpg. Around town it's been stuck in the 13mpg range. It is heavy with lift, steel rock sliders, full steel skid plates, winch and winch bumper.
