Why do I shoot lead? 'Cause MBC delivers!

I wonder about that, too, to be honest. But doing it isn't easy. We work ourselves to a frazzle and spend most of our time being exhausted.

Does anybody use a Lewis Lead Cleaner???

Just got one. Only used it once, worked fine. I'll probably get better with adjusting the thing after a few more cleanings.

If anyone needs a Lewis Lead Remover, MBC carries them, too!

Man You guys sure have to wait a LONG time to get your product from MBC. I drive over there and pick them up Right then! Brad always offers to help load them out too! Great Service and Pricing, BUT in addition to that, the accuracy has been better than jacketed. Winchester White Box had loads all over the place, some were LOUD and some were med loud and some not-so-loud. The POI varied too. Wish MBC would make rifle bullets that can go fast next!

The reward of hard work is..........more hard work.

Its worth repeating though, you guys do a great job, and for some reason have a magical power to not encounter the delays that other bullet manufacturers do.

I am going to start casting some 45 target bullets, but Missouri Bullet will still get the nod for my others. I dont want to mess with alloys for the bullets I push hard, and thiers work perfectly.

Then you may want to avail yourself of some of our fine linotype or casting-ready 2/6 alloy!

Curious as to why the others can't seem to manage what MBC seems to do so easily.

I believe it's due to their business models vs. actual business practices ... MBC just happens to have a better business model and practices - great product, great price, great service.

And I hear the guy in charge is not that bad either ...

Nah, I like watching you guys work on that web cam of yours. Besides, I dont mind burning up some home cast bullets by the ton plinking, but I want some good quality bullets lubed and sized well that are the perfect hardness. I dont trust myself to pull that off.

I push a 165 Lee gas check SWC out of a 20" .357 barrel to 1900 fps and I cast it of free range scrap. Gas checks work. All my other stuff is lower velocity. I don't have a real reason to get crazy with the loads. I will use jacketed bullets if I need to.

I'm sure these bullets are great, though, from what everyone is sayin'. At least you don't have to mess with the casting if you're in a rush, and loading lead is cheaper than buying Speer or Nosler or something. For those that don't cast, a great business producing a great product is a good thing. I cast primarily because I get my lead for free. If I didn't, buying lead might not be practical compared to just buying cast bullets. I haven't done that research. I used to pay 25-50 cents a lb for wheel weights. Haven't bought any in a good while. The clips on those wheel weights weigh SOMETHING, themselves.

MCgunner, from my experience with WW, you're lucky to get a 65% yield given the zinc and steel ones, plus the clips. 60% is probably more realistic and it's getting worse with the anti-lead mandates impacting the automotive market.

How much extra work (and money) would it be to offer some Moly-coated versions of your more popular bullets? I've been thinking of trying some out, but I'd rather buy 'em from you if you offered 'em

Because I (and many others) would rather give our business to companies like MBC.

I had considered getting back into casting but found it wasn't cost- or time-effective for me to do so right now. Finding the time and space to reload for both metallic cart and shotshell is challenging enough. And unless(until) I get into an exotic, off-the-wall caliber that I NEED to cast for I'd rather support a company that offers a quality product, reasonable pricing with a history of outstanding support. I'm fortunate to have discovered one with most of the products I need and just wish I could find one like them locally to buy shot from

I think that's because MBC work "hard" at meeting their customers' needs. From what I have seen, "great service" is their "core" business principle. Many businesses that won't meet their customers' needs may not share the same business principle. It's supply and demand. MBC happens to supply the very demand reloading customers desire - great product at great price with great service.

It sure seems that way. I just ordered some up not long ago, and they were there quick, fast, and in a hurry. I don't think I will be ordering from another place.
