Glock 27 - Combination of size, my ability to shoot and comfort level with the gun.

I shop for CC based upon reliability.

5" 1911 by Colt, with a Rail. Yes Virginia, that's my concealed carry gun. Second place goes to the P 35.

I shop for my carry gun based on a variety of qualifiers: action type, caliber, manufacturer's reputation, after sale customer support, warranty, and the gun's appeal to me, to name but a few.

I carry Smith and Wesson revolvers.

I had to vote Sig because that's what I really mostly carry... my second choice and it may become my first is Ruger.

I usually carry my Sig 210.

Kel-Tec PF9 or P3AT mostly.....Lightweight and reliable, but not on the list of poll options.
Sometimes I carry a Walther and sometimes a Smith & Wesson.
While I do own examples from most of the manufacturers on the poll....I usually carry a Kel-Tec.
It is interesting that this poll doesn't include Kel-Tec, Beretta, and many other quality carry gun manufacturers.

I would like to vote in your poll but it seems that you have left out a couple of the more popular conceal carry manufactures.

Over the years I have carry every manufacture listed (plus some) except Taurus and Glock and found them lacking for what I wanted in a conceal carry. Probably the closes that I ever came to my idea carry of those listed was when I carried a S&W 3913 but still wasn't happy with the size of the gun to caliber. So I opted for Walther PPK/s in a caliber that I felt uncomfortable with and question whether or not it was adequate for the task that I was asking it to do, plus was finicky on what it would digest. I was about to go back to the Smith when Kahr Arms came on the scene with their new conceal carry, the K9.

The Kahr drew my interest as it was approximately the same size as the PPK/s but chamber/rated for the more potent +P 9mm. In addition I like the inherit simplicity designed into the pistol of a true DAO "without" the need for additional safeties (like Springfield's XD). Needless to say, seeing the possibility of the pistol I didn't hesitate to purchase one while they were still reasonable (anyone remember what you could buy a Glock for before they became popular?) and wasn't disappointed that I did. But as good as the K9 was, there was some issues that I had with it. First was that Kahr didn't seem to radius the edges on the early guns which I promptly cut the back of my index finger on the edge of the trigger guard. Next was for such a small pistol it certainly weighed alot and last was the sights. While I like the Dot/Post configuration the rear sights on the gun ate up a number of liners on different jackets even with protectors sowed in. Due to these few thing I sent the pistol to a gunsmith friend of mine to correct these problems. Several months later I received a custom Kahr with meltdown radius on all edges, lightening cuts on the slide, Novak combat sights, 30 lpi checkering on the front strap of the frame and the butt point of the Hogue wood grips was knock-off and rounded to lower the pistol signature. I thought I had the best conceal carry ever until I walk into the same gun store that I purchase the K9 and spotted the new (at the time) TP9 by Kahr.

While I really liked my K9 especially after having the work done that I did. When I compared it to the TP9 I found it lacking. The TP9 was lighter even though the K9 had been lighten. I prefer the longer sight radius of a 4" vs. 3-1/2" and the fact that it was Polymer and Stainless where the K9 was still gun steel (I believe they're all stainless now?) and require constant rust prevention especially on a humid days. In addition the TP9 was slimmer in the grip due to no grip panels (lowering it's signature) the grip was textured all the way around and all the edges were radius. In my way of thinking there was no comparison between the two, the TP9 (IMO) was the carry conceal answer to Nirvana.

Since that day that I trade my K9 for the TP9 I've had no regrets and haven't carried anything else as my daily carry. There are time when I've entered areas to work, where known problems exist where I might trade it out for my BHP just on the firepower standpoint. But to just walk down the street or shopping the TP9 is it, of course with a couple of trusty blades backup .

M&P Compact .40. Best balance of ergonomics, power, size, looks, shootability, reliability(100%) that I've found.

Added Apex parts and XS sights...she's perfect.

Got an old Model 37 J frame that I carry now, will be getting a Glock 30 over the summer.

I carry a Kimber SS Ultra Carry II .45 ACP 95% of the time. I'm a 1911 fan,
so I would have to vote "type of action". BTW, this firearm has been utterly

I marked Springfield Armory, but my carry piece for over twenty years has been various makes of Model 1911s. My current carry is a Colt Officers Model 1911.

A single stack 9mm with a good trigger, made of metal with some nice wooden grips and clean utilitarian lines with no frills on the slide.
It's not on your list. I carry an E9.

I went with S&W and Sig, since I do carry both, but most times it is a Pony in the pouch behind my pocket.

I voted based on what I usually carry. It's a Taurus 605 snub nose in .357 Mag. Shoots well, conceals easy, always works, inexpensive to replace.... It's a good gun. I put 50 rounds through it the other day, it shot great.

Walther PPKs in .380.

I carry my S&W 642 a lot, light and more than enough fire power if needed.
One reload also.
I also carry my Sig p6, If I think I may be in need of a few more rounds.
And one extra mag with this also.
I don't understand why some one would want to carry a box of ammo with them. Single stack mags are good enough. IMHO
