So many snubbies!

With full-length grips carrying a snubby doesn't make sense. My J-Frame has short, rounded grips and actually conceals.

Agree with the alloy frames that will be pocket carried. I have the stock Taurus boot grip on my 85SSUL. But, on the SP101, a Hogue conceals VERY well, round butt profile. You won't be carrying a SP101 in a pocket unless you're Hulk Hogan, anyway. The thing weighs 27 ounces unloaded.

I have a 3" Taurus 66 for belt/iwb/owb/fanny pack carry. It's over 30 ounces and the Hogue on it isn't as small for CCW, but it carries 6 and I much prefer a 3" barrel in a .357 magnum. The gun is an amazing shooter, too, very accurate and easy to shoot heavy loads from. The SP101 is a little rough with hot loads, but quite manageable. I may get another one, this time with a 3" tube. :D

My fave carry gun...

(Attached photo is with rubber grips, but I prefer the wood.)

TennJed - added/edited nomenclature to the pic - should have done that in the first place.

Not at all suprised to see so many really nice revolvers from other members. I start giggling half way thru some of these threads when members show their good stuff.
I just wish I'd started my "little" hobby 40 years ago.

I have a S&W 60-2 and it's a perfect pocket carry for a backup.

788Ham,

That one traveled a long ways over the years. From Los Angeles, California in 1934 to a small town gunshop in Maine. I'd love to know the story of why it ended up here. I picture it in some travelers pocket on a train travelling across country.

My snubbie collection is nowhere near the awesomeness of some of the previous, but here are some of mine:

Wow. My picture turned out more horrific than I thought. I promise not to post any more pictures from my cell phone. Horrific.

the picture its self isnt really that bad...its just that its at an angle that kind of makes you dizzy.

Bought a set of the Pro Comp Grips, as seen on the M60, for my M&P340. Very nice grips. Not as concealable, but gives ya a good handful of grip. Put my silver/black Altamont boot grips on when I want concealability. Gotta love all them snubbies!!!

Yeah,I know what you mean by wishing there was a separate forum and all, just for the snubs ! A friend of mine sold me a Colt Lawman MK III .357 snub nose.it was a retired Police Oficers Duty revolver.I have to find out what year it was made. The only thing I know so far is that they were made from 1969-83 I'll do the research on it as soon as I get the chance and I put a picture in the thread for sure. The bluing is nice and it shoots good too.I dont have a problem shooting a soda can at 20yds and I think for a snubie...well you be the judge! This was with factory Rem. Ammo.Anyway I just love this revolver and it has found it's permanent home sweet home (ha ha) oh I paid $275 for it which I thought was very good.I'm a happy camper :D :p :D

What kind of get is the first one in post #17 and can you still by one new?

That is a S&W model 66.
One of the finest handguns EVER produced!
You cannot buy new ones....because they are no longer produced. (unless you can find one for 1200 bucks "NIB")
I sold mine off (duhh) to purchase some plastic wondernine.....and have regretted it ever since.
I will have another one someday....a -4 model, my favorite!
