I have now seen it all... a bullpup SKS!

make stocks that, while not one-of-a-kind, seem like they might be better offerings. Interesting design in the one on GB, but I like the others better. And the cost is way less.

I don't know if your comment about getting it was tongue-in-cheek or not, but just thought I would offer alternatives.

I've heard of these, but what's with the pearl grips on that Gunbroker link--that ain't right... That long mag looks even more ungainly in that config; I'd think a 10-15 rounder would be easier to tucker under the shoulder. Nifty concept, though.

Interesting concept but I've long been of the opinion that any "bullpup" design that isn't fully ambi (with an eject out the front or the bottom) is not a very good design. Then again I'm a lefty so I'm a bit biased.

That thing looks cool, and very Russian, only they'd use a 'Planet of the Apes' baklite stock.

Does look noisy.. that action/ejection port is RIGHT next to you face if anything does go wrong.

Is that stock made from Bondo?

These kind of guns would be an interesting niche collection but the price is way too high.

There is a right way to bullpup an old battle rifle:

But the link in the OP is very very wrong.

At the least the gun needs a face shield over the ejection port area. I would not want to stick my face next to the stock port opening.

Yeah, as a southpaw, I could see that big a** charging handle on an SKS smacking me right in the face with that thing!

Kinda cool looking. It's a nice novelty. But if I was going to spend that kind of money, I'd just add a few hundred and get a Para TTR.

Wait, how the heck does a bullpup work with a drum-mag?

TCB

It's workable, but not comfortable.
I just put it on for the photo, looked uglier with it IMHO.

The Kushnapup (Saiga 12ga bullpup conversion) in my post above is workable with a 12rd drum but again not comfortable. With a 20rd, forget abut it.
