+1....... I hate that junk, fake made up story lines, that have nothing to do with guns or the show.Larry:
Great show but please do what you can to prevent the producers from allowing it to degenerate into contrived, outlandish dramas and farcical projects like shows of similar genre. (the Redjacket clowns, the Gunsmoke dude who pimps out his family, etc.)
This is correct but a show like this is still new..give it time. My dad and I have been collecting antique tractors since before anyone else wanted them. We used to follow the auctions all over the country and would always see the same people there. Used to be (25+ years ago) 20-100 people and 10-30 bidders...now at the bigger ones its 100's of people and some approaching 1000 with 50-100 main bidders. The last 5 years or so our auction adventures are limited because of my dads age, and we sell instead of buy because people pay way more then we ever did or will....(sort of like guns right now).i have noticed the same few people in the audience on a few episodes. Maybe they follow the show.
It's t.v...they are not going to put a show on that wont draw people. Otherwise p.b.s. and rfdtv would be big.Larry:

What are some examples of bad fakes you've been hit with we should be looking out for? Good show, BTW.some times lessons are expensive!!
we saw a lot of things like that but thats the one that made it on air.
I watched that M-10 segment, and then changed the channel.
When selling NFA items, it might be apropos to mention that the buyer is subject to paperwork and a long wait; instead of implying any 'Mercan can waltz out of an auction with a NFA F/A suppressed MAC.
