Just got a TRS-25 in the mail yesterday and wondering if this is normal. There's what appears to be a large glob of brown glue inside the scope, which I assume is where the dot projects from. However, it's not the typical square piece of metal I'm used to seeing, and it seems to obstruct the field of view way more than it should. Other red dot sights I've looked through don't have anything like that (Aimpoint, Ultradot, and a cheap UTG). If it's not normal for a TRS I'll exchange it (got it on Amazon). Here's a pic that doesn't clearly show the glue, but does show how it blocks the field of view. As you can see, it sticks out even when looking straight through the scope.
