Since it uses higher volume charges than Titegroup I am thinking it may alleviate some of the misery of reloading 32 ACP. Curiously they have loads for 380 ACP on up, but not for 32.
 
I have not seen that powder anywhere. I've loaded .380 with Power Pistol and had good results. It fills the case pretty well and uses a higher volume than Titegroup.
My Modern Reloading manual lists 3.2-3.6gr for PP for a 60gr jacketed bullet for the .32 auto.
 
It is supposed to be released this month from what I understand, but have not seen any as of yet? Anyone else no different?
 
I haven't seen any in person or online for sale yet. I looked at the data awhile back and I seem to recall that it looked like it would be between 800-X and Longshot on Hodgdon's burn rate chart. I don't know if any of the powders in that range are suitable for .32acp, and I'm just speculating since CFE-Pistol isn't on the burn rate chart yet, but that might give you an idea of whether or not it might be a feasible powder for .32acp.
 
Thanks for your insight. Based on the 380 load it looks like it will work.
 
I just got my copy of Hodgdon's annual reloading manual for 2014 yesterday.
CFE Pistol is featured on the cover and there is an article on it.
It shows CFE Pistol at #44 on the burn rate chart.
HS-6 is #42 and VV3N37 is #46.
800-X is#38 and Longshot is #53.

I haven't even seen any let along try some. I would if I could...

BTW, don't put too much trust in burn rate charge numbers. The list number on the charge will tell you if one powder is slower or faster than another but not how much slower or faster. Powder speed also changes when used in different cartridges. Even though the list numbers are closer for HS-6 and CFE-Pistol it's entirely possible it's speed is closer to Longshot. (I'm not saying it is, I'm making an example)
 
Never heard of it. If it's for pistol I'd like to get a hold of some though.

Yes, CFE stands for Copper Fouling Eraser.
Hodgdon also makes CFE 223 for rifle loading.
