Glocks are falling out of favor.......

This argument has been debated many times. Bar none, I have found that the Glock in 9mm is without a doubt the most useful semi-automatic handgun tool ever made. I have a G17 and a G19 and yes, they are utilitarian, not pretty, but they always go bang - always (so far anyway). I must get...

    Best .177 pellet for killing

Air gun pellets come in three common sizes: .177 .20 .22 The .20 is the best of the three. Get yourself a Benjamin Sheridan Blue Streak in .20 and at high pump - 700 fps - you will easily kill a racoon sized varmint within 50 yards given a head shot.

    New Generation Golden Oriole Katana

And the GO blade is definitely not pot metal. This is quality high carbon steel.

    New Generation Golden Oriole Katana

My impression of the current Paul Chen Golden Oriole blade is that is forged and not at all folded. The artistic points of this piece are outstanding. The tsuba is lovely. The scabbard is painted a clear dark royal blue lacquer. The handle's wrapping is quality and matches this color...

    New Generation Golden Oriole Katana

I don't think anyone would want to be on the receiving end of this katana. It will cut. It is very sharp. I just don't think the blade is up to a lot of abuse. Why bother? Because it is beautiful.

    New Generation Golden Oriole Katana

Stickjockey: Delicate as in a very long light thin blade. I think it will cut but not too much. Very pretty though and that's why I bought it. I don't intend to cut anything with it. Just for presentation and looking at.

Tom Delay = Bad for the Cause

If the Republican party is smart, they better unload radicals and crooks like DeLay, or they will suffer the inevitable back lash of the middle of the road public.

Possible for BB to hurt eye through eyelid?

Of course! Jeez. A fingernail in the eye can cause trauma. Wear safety glasses.

    New Generation Golden Oriole Katana

If you are looking for an entry level katana for primarily display, although it will cut - albeit a delicate blade, you might try the new generation Golden Oriole by Paul Chen. This blade is not to be compared with prior swords of the same name. The new generation corrects many flaws of the...

    Glock 19 - Got a 15 Round Mag Today

When I bought my Glock 19 about 5 years ago, 10 round mags were the rule, without paying a fortune for factory pre-ban 15 rounders, and they were rare. And you really can't hardly get that 10th round in those factory 10 round magazines, the springs, lawyer dictated were so tight, and so they...

    Cleaning w/ WD 40 ??

NO NO NO - WD-40 is total crap. Throw that can in the garbage. Try CLP Breakfree instead. It's cleaning, lubricating, and corrosion resistance are legendary. I use nothing else for everyday.

    Can't Get Into Safe-Action

Personally I like the Glock standard out of the box trigger. I find it a bit like a slightly stiff rifle trigger with some take up. But I never got used to a SA auto like a M1911. Previous handgun experience sans Glock were DA revolvers. So I find the Glock trigger most pleasing and...

    Is a Kahr worth it?

The early Kahr's when they first came out were great guns. I have one of the first MK9s. It is a little watch piece of a pistol. The trigger is as smooth as the smoothest tricked out DA revolver. Back then they were just a little over $500, well worth it. I can't comment on today's...

    Dry Firing...

Depends on the firearm. The manual you receive with your firearm should explain this. Generally most firearms will tolerate moderate dry-firing. Glocks on the other hand encourage dry-firing. If you have any questions, follow the previous advice, and use snap-caps.

Ruger refuses to sell 20 round mags for the Mini now, to anyone but cops

You all have to understand the Ruger is one of the most savvy of U.S. gun manufacturers. They cater to the main stream and a few niches that other manufacturers have ignored. That is why they are so successful, and profitable, where other's like Colt and S&W have had such financial problems...
