Hey guys. I've been buying once fired .308 Norma brass for $50 per 250 pieces, not cleaned or deprimed, with shipping extra.
I'm just curious what the going rate is in the U.S. with the current craziness?
I haven't heard that they quit making them. Nor does it make sense as they sell like hotcakes. I'm in the process of buying another-looks like I better get on it, just in case. Not trying to be mean but here's mine...
ECVMatt, I like that. I was not aware anyone was still making such rifles with sights. My only complaint would be the weight (and price!)
A 25'' barrel is also longer than some people might like, but it's certainly a ready made, good to go option for someone who wants a rifle such as that.
I really like mine. I believe this is similar to what you're wanting:
Unfortunately it's no longer a currently available rifle.
I'd do as has been suggested above -buy the stainless rifle of your choice and get sights put on it.
The box is in perfect condition. I'm wondering if it had been stored near some sort of chemicals as I bought it from a farm supply/hardware type store, very reputable I might add, but I do know their stock storage is in a building where all sorts of other things are stored as well.
I have...
Update: After contacting Winchester I received a very speedy response. They offered to pay to have the ammo shipped to them for replacement. They were also quite accommodating and pleasant to deal with, so I certainly can't complain about their service.
I've seen the brown ones like this

And I've seen the newer colored green ones, but I've never seen this color used before on a Redding scale. Is it legit...
I recently picked up a few boxes of Winchester .308
And this is what I found
This is the first time I've run into ammo like this by any manufacturer. It really surprised me, but in all fairness to Winchester they don't have any control of how their ammo is stored or handled after it...
Thanks for the replies guys. The dies look to be in excellent condition and I will use them. I was just curious as to their age since they didn't have the usual date stamp.
Hi guys. I'm new here but am sure someone here will know the answer to my question. I recently got a set of RCBS dies. There are no year/date markings. Instead there's the letter J.
The sizing die is stamped on top: RCBS 30-30 J
The seater is stamped on top: RCBS 30-30 SEAT J
The lock rings...
Hi all,I've got a question concerning .30-06 starting loads using Win 760 with 180 gr bullets.
Hodgdon says 50gr to start & 55.5 max.
Lyman 49th says 45gr to start & 52 max.
Where to start?
I've always used IMR 4350 in the past but haven't been able to get any lately.
This is the first...
