    Cross eye dominant.

I'm right handed but blind in my right eye. I shoot handguns right handed, rifles left handed. I can shoot handguns with both hands but prefer the right. I lost my right eye when I was 6 so this is a no brainer for me.

    another .22 LR question

I watch "The First 48 Hours," and a lot of other "reality" crime shows. I'd say, on average, at least half of the deaths are caused by a .22 caliber handgun. Most likely, the next caliber is a 380, followed by 9mm, 45, and 40. I live in a very safe town. Both my wife and I have CCW but...

    Marvel 22 converter help

Found an old Marvel 22 converter mounted on an old Kimber classic in my basement. Probably sitting there for 10 years. I can't remember how to get the Marvel off so I can put the rest of the Kimber together. Any help appreciated here. Thanks, Burt

    Slow Motion Bullet Impacts

Hypnotic. Bullets hitting metal, glass, paper, gel. This video is about 10 mins but I couldn't take my eyes off of it. http://www.wimp.com/slowimpacts/

So I went and bought a Kahr PM-9 Today

Mine needed close to 500 rounds to break in. Shoots very well now and is consistent. You may get stove pipes and failure to load/eject. Just keep shooting it and all those problems will go away. Won't hurt to Flitz the feed ramp.

    9 shot revolver

Recently watched an episode of "Notorious" where the murder weapon was a 9 shot revolver. The date of the incident was 1987. Man murdered his daughter. Shot her 27 times. While the gun was never found (allegedly thrown in a river), the narrator repeated the 9 shot revolver numerous times...

Does the .380 really have enough stopping power?

I watch a lot of reality crime shows. What surprised me the most was the number of murders committed with 380s and 22s. They cause, in the shows I've seen, the majority of firearms deaths.

    Moon Clipable?

I have a S&W 686-6 snubby. Can it use moon clips as is or do I need a speedloader? My primary use is for quick SD reloads. If one day I decide to try out IDPA what would I use and would is considered legal? Thanks, bobland

    lightest smallest thinnest .38 revolver

I had a 342 and still have a PM9 (@14oz). I put each gun in a variety of different pants and found the 342 printed the least. My wife tried it also and found the same result. Unfortunately, with the mildest of loads, I found the 342 to be too difficult to shoot both from the enormously...

I notice now most of us older guys (50+)

I bought my first revolver about 8 years ago when I began to get stiff in all the joints (except the one I really needed). I was shooting at a very crowded range and picking up brass was getting to be too much of a chore. Got a 625 in 45 which I ultimately "converted" to AR. The fun things...

    Movers and my gun collection

When I moved, the movers told me in person "no guns or ammo." They also included this in the contract. However, they said nothing of components so I had them move the tons of lead bullets, cases, dies, presses and all other shooting accessories as we had packed the Jeep up to the eyeballs...

    Lefthanded Shooting

I'm right handed but blind in my right eye. I shoot a left handed Cooper 52 but shoot all of my hand guns righty. The little bit of Bullseye I shot I did righty because it felt better but also lefty because it was comfortable visually. I will be getting a center fire rifle soon. It will...
