    New Bowie

Rb is right, Ray is cooking. Here's his gallery, http://www.villagephotos.com/pubbrowse.asp?folder_id=1484399 Sorry GLM, can't do that, but I can tell you it was a very fair price. ACP230, Ray isn't taking orders to my knowledge, just making spec knives he enjoys. I found his work for sale...

    New Bowie

About an inch in front of the guard hso, So it handles well for a big knife. I wanted plain, hehe. I'll be using it, and ebony is as tough as it is black. Gonna snap some better pics before I take it camping at the end of April. Have a good'n. Braz

    Warning for Kali people.

"Anyone who continues to possess an unreg'd AW in CA is simply stupid." Sad. No wonder the state continues to ramp up it's efforts to disarm the people.

    Warning for Kali people.

Damn  I'm very sorry for your friend 50Shooter. The fellow is being railroaded. This guy sounds like a standup vet, and for them to attack him for the sole purpose of career building is shameful. I wish you both the best, but I fear the only way to avoid these trumped up charges is to...

Finally, a gun-smart character in a horror film ("They Live" by John Carpenter)

They Live is one of the best B horror movies ever made! Full of great stuff, lines and as said the most amazing fight scene of all time. It and 'The Hidden' rank as my favorite SHTF movies. Buy 'em, you'll love it.

I wanna watch a good gun movie.

The Big Red One (Lee Marvin leads a squad in WWII) Death Hunt (Charles Bronson and Lee Marvin pre-date Rambo) Full Metal Jacket (classic movie, classic lines) Hombre (Paul Newman is the man who 'can cut it'.) Jeremiah Johnson (Robert Redford becomes a Mountain Man legend) The...

    BONES: Finally, a pro-gun show!!

Bones is pro-feminist, not pro-gun, imo. She will be denied permission to carry a gun, now that she has proved she is a tuff woman. And that will place her in dramatic scenes, of course. Now HOUSE is great TV, if such a thing is possible. Mature themes and very funny scripts. I try to...

WAC show at new digs in Puyallup, WA

Wondered why I didn't see ya MC, ;) Just kidding, it was huge. Both the Washington Knife Show and WAC in that new cavern. It took me three hours to get half way through. I went to lunch and came back to finish. Got a tomahawk rig, a new bowie and a sweet SS SG58 FAL. Just a great show if ya...

    Savage 10LE1

These rifles have wonderful barrels. They would probably shoot great with no stock. Mine is pure stock and offers group after group like this... Grab some good ammo and have fun. If you start crawling the bush, then you can get a good optional stock. But for the range, it's GTG.

    Carbine choice--> M4gery or SA58

Those in the know choose the SA58 as the ideal SHTF weapon. With ten tested mags and match grade ammo, it can't be beat for GP shooting. The low rail allows for a natural scope or red dot position. The recoil is light, and balance is sweet for quick presentation. The best thing about them is...

Am I the only one who HATES disassembling a Glock?

You de Man Don! I like you're not too proud to admit a mistake. I'd shoot with ya anytime... but you have to do the cleaning. ;)

    Winchester 97 vs modern designs

The '97 has a single cocking arm on one side, That can bind, modern double arms are better, imo.
