My father-in-law found an old shotgun behind his mother-in-law's water heater

These are my thoughts, exactly! There is a point where genuine age and wear actually adds to the charm. Also, this one has a fixed bore.

My father-in-law found an old shotgun behind his mother-in-law's water heater

Just DMed you. I would love to be able to put this gun back to all wood. Thank you very much for offering this!

My father-in-law found an old shotgun behind his mother-in-law's water heater

I actually bought both this raptor grip as well as a full-sized polymer stock. I'm going to let my FIL try them both and tell me which he prefers.

My father-in-law found an old shotgun behind his mother-in-law's water heater

So, my father-in-law was at his mother-in-law's house a while back. He was there replacing her water heater. When he pulled the water heater away from the wall, he found a shotgun lying up against the wall behind it. *His* father-in-law likely stored it there, and it's been there ever since he...

Broken Extractor pin on Mossberg 500 that has never been fired!

So, my grandpa, shortly before he passed away, bought a new Mossberg 500a as a home defense gun. He passed away a few years later, and my dad inherited that gun. Earlier this week, my dad asked me if I was interested in any of his guns, as he was wanting to liquidate a few to fund the purchase...

    Briley Handguard on 1301 Tactical

I just received this Briley handguard today for my 1301 Tactical, and I love it! This 1301 has been my favorite gun in my safe for a while now, but I am building it out slowly. So far, all I've added/replaced is the mag-tube cover and charging handle from GG&G, and this new handguard. Next are...

Remington 870 Wingmaster Super Magnum (Rare ?)

Any clue where these are available? I've been trying to find one, but I can't find anyone selling them anywhere online.

Remington 870 Wingmaster Super Magnum (Rare ?)

Thanks, Stoky. My assumption that this shotgun was rare was based on only being able to find 2 or 3 forum posts about this model while googling. Few posts, plus the mention of this model being rare in a few of those posts lead me to believe that this gun was not readily accessible currently.

Remington 870 Wingmaster Super Magnum (Rare ?)

Hey folks, I am having a hard time coming up with a value to place on a particular gun of mine, and I was hoping some folks here would have some input. I have a rare (to my knowledge) Remington 870 Wingmaster Super Magnum that has scrollwork on both sides. This gun was purchased new by me...

    Gen 4 vs 3 Glock 19

Yeah, I didn't think I'd ever see the day either. However, when the Gen 4 pictures got release, and I saw those fish gills. The 'traditional look' of the Gen 3 got real appealing real fast.

    Gen 4 vs 3 Glock 19

I rushed out to buy a 3rd gen G19 last week, because I didn't want to get stuck with a Gen 4. I, personally, am not a fan of the looks of the Gen 4, and I would rather others be the guinea pigs to test the new functionality changes. However, I am sure the Gen 4 will be an excellent gun. I just...

    I Hated Glocks

shockwave: I can't argue with you here. The Glock is by no means the most comfortable to shoot. However, I do like the way that it points, and being that it is so good at so many other things, I think I will get over this issue. It is becoming an excellent carry gun, and I plan to put thousands...

    I Hated Glocks

martialartsblackbelt: I think I am pushing the gun in anticipation of the recoil. I was firing fairly rapidly, and I think I was pushing to compensate for the recoil, and it's obvious that I was OVER-compensating.

    I Hated Glocks

Until this week... I own multiple high-end and custom 1911's, Sigs, many beautiful S&W revolvers, and a number of other handguns. Glocks have never interested me. They all look the same; every cop in the nation owns one (so they're not unique); and their frames are plastic! Last week I...

Striker vs Hammer Fired Polymer Frame Pistols

I own 1911's, Sigs, some beautiful revolvers, and only 1 Glock. However, I believe that a striker fired pistol is less complicated. It has fewer moving firing components to have go wrong and cause a problem. Having a hammer is nice for having DA/SA available when shooting at the range...
