I picked up a 930 for hunting purposes. I chose the 28" all synthetic and got it for $450. I've only gotten out twice with it, but so far I just love it. The gun comes with a lock, three chokes (full, mod, imp) with a wrench, and three different inserts to change the height of the receiver...

I've never been to an IDPA match, nor have I ever fired a 9mm...only 45s and revolvers, so sorry if I sound ignorant. I was reading the IDPA rules, and the classification scoring breakdown surprised me. CDP is 45 only right? Yet ESP, where you can run 9mm, is only marginally faster in times...

The reason I was leaning towards the L frame version was the 7 shot cylinder. You have to admit thats pretty nice. Does anyone have dimensions: 66 3 or 2.5" Vs 686+ 3"?

Did S&W make a 3" 620? I like the seven shot capacity and the partial lug barrel of the 620 but I think 3" will be much better for carry purposes.

Is the 7 round 686 cylinder larger diameter than the 6 round, or are they the same and the 7 round just has less space between the bullets? I havent been able to find detail dimensions anywhere.
