First time garage sale success. Lets hear your garage sale stories.

Not a yard sale but bought a Dillon 550 with 5 tool heads, caliber conversions for 45, 9mm, 38, and 2 powder hoppers for $175.

    Headspacing issue

RC, Thanks for the reply and I figured everything was good to go. Sorry that was a typo I meant 1.250. My Dan Wesson feeds those great at that length but I guess the Baer's chamber is cut a little tighter. I loaded a dummy round when I got home and the Baer's barrel is jiving at 1.240 so I was...

    Headspacing issue

I went to the range today to break in my Baer CC with some of my reloads. First up was some plated Powerbonds and they ran great. About 150 rounds of PB plated. Then I went with my 200 gr SWC load. They ran great as well not a hickup. Next came my 200 gr LRN. Well here is where the problems...

    RCBS 750 Range Master Question

I have the same scale and had the same problems. Make sure you let it warm up for at least 30 min, no cell phones in the area, make sure there is no static on anything, and make sure you are using standard light bulbs not the curly new ones. Try those out and see if it helps.

    45 Rainier 230gr problems

About the Powerbond bullets and their toughness. I took a sample of plated bullets. The ones I had Rainer had the thinnest plating, then Berrys, and then Powerbond. Rainer and Berrys I could cut with my work box cutter, Powerbond I had to get a hatchet. Also, in my experience they hold a tighter...

    45 Rainier 230gr problems

Don't give up just yet. I have been shooting a few plated bullets lately and I have found that Powerbond is the best by far to me. I have found that their 200 grn RN over 4.0 grns of Clays is really accurate. You might want to try a different powder such as Clays, Unique, or 231. Nothing wrong...

MBC Price Increases - Don't Order Anything Until Tonight

I thought I was done with Eco for this semester haha. As a business major its always interesting for me to hear the reasons for cost increases. You think reloaders don't like a necessary price increase? Try explaining that to painters, I work at Sherwin Williams and we had a price increase with...

MBC Price Increases - Don't Order Anything Until Tonight

WOW that's a lot of lead. I like to watch the cam you have set up in the shop. I also hope you didn't think I was trying to bad mouth MBC for the price increase. I totally agree you have to cover you cost. Just curious to what the increases were.

MBC Price Increases - Don't Order Anything Until Tonight

No the numbers are right. Buying lead still saves but there are a lot of dealers that carry fmj for a great price. I don't buy bullets from Midway and Hornady cost to much. I wasn't downing MBC I have bought my fair share of bullets from them I was just curious.

MBC Price Increases - Don't Order Anything Until Tonight

Its good to know that if it goes down prices will go down to. That's a sign of a good business. Just curious how long does it take to go through a truck load?

MBC Price Increases - Don't Order Anything Until Tonight

That's crazy that lead went up that much. Thanks for breaking it down. I wish I would have bought more. The 10% will help if I can come up with some money for some boolits. I have already spent my month gun allowance this month.

MBC Price Increases - Don't Order Anything Until Tonight

Hey Brad, What made the price go up so much? Is something up with lead? Not complaining but after the 10% discount this month 1k of 230 grn 45 is only 10 to 15 bucks less than plated or fmj. I just wish I would have bought more.

Load problems with 125 LRN and Glock 17

No unfortunately I left the factory ammo at home because I was just running out to test these loads and brought the 22/45 out for the fun of it. I was also the only one at the range.

Load problems with 125 LRN and Glock 17

Ok. I have tried every powder combo I have to get a load for my Glock 17. The gun is a stock Glock 17 with LW barrel. I have gotten loads for my 124 fmj and 147 LFP no problem but I can't get this to come together. I have tried Unique, WSF, 231, Clays, and Bullseye. I can shoot test rounds all...

    Self-Serving Company Announcements from MBC

Yeah I use the same bullets as all those high end 1911 makers use. Only the best for my guns. Haha. Congrats on the benefits for your employees. It takes a big man to go above and beyond to take care of his guys. I know that will appreciate, respect, and work harder (if thats possible) for you.
