Bersa folks, how do YOU ccw your .380??

I use a clipdraw with mine. It's more comfortable than any IWB holster I've ever tried. And with the T380CC's manual safety and heavy DA trigger pull, not using a holster is not a concern for me.

    Which Kahr?

I've found the recoil of my PM9 to be fairly light and manageable. Of course, I'm comparing it to my 337PD Airlite and Kel-Tec P3AT, two guns known for their recoil. The PM9 is a lamb in comparison.

where do you "hide" your HD gun?

I "hide" my handguns in a Cannon pistol safe bolted in the cabinet area of our bed wall unit. Yes, it's in plain sight if you open the cabinet door, and it could be pried out with a crowbar, but it offers the safety I need with my son and other kids frequently in the house. The safe has a...

    What happened to titanium-scandium weapons?

I absolutely love my S&W 337PD. At 10.7 ounces, it's the lightest of the S&W Airlites, so the recoil is snappy, but manageable. And it's deadly accurate at 7 yards. I carry it all the time. Just because I don't write about it here constantly doesn't mean I don't still love it. :D

    Alternating carry guns

Depends mainly on what I'm wearing. My Kel-Tec P3AT can go anywhere, any time in my pocket, whether I'm in shorts, jeans or dress slacks. But when I can carry something a little bigger, I carry my S&W 337PD. It can go in the pocket or IWB. If I can get away with carrying something a...

    best handgun for alligators?

Best handgun for alligators? I think it would have to be a small-frame revolver so they could get their little alligator hands around the grip. And with their little short arms, they'd probably have a tough time racking the slide on a semiauto. :D Sorry, but I couldn't resist. :D

    Is your Kel-Tec P-11 reliable ?

I've owned two P-11s and never had any kind of problem with either one of them. The P-11 has been around long enough that Kel-Tec has worked out all of the bugs.

    Kahr PM-9

I find that the fully loaded PM9 is a little too heavy (~18.7 ounces) to carry in my pocket, but I'm not a big guy. I usually carry mine in a soft Mil-Tech IWB holster. For pocket carry, I use my Kel-Tec P3AT (10 ounces loaded) or S&W 337PD (~13.2 ounces loaded).

    KelTec/Kahr owner comments

I too have owned the Kel-Tec P-11 and the Kahr PM9. I'd say that, if you can afford the price tag, buy the Kahr. But if funds are limited, go with the Kel-Tec. I can shoot my PM9 far more accurately than I could the P-11, because of the much lighter trigger. But I never had any problems with...

How much do US firing ranges charge?

I usually go to the indoor range at Bass Pro Shops. It costs $8 per hour, but I've never gone over an hour, and I don't think the staff really watches the clock either. An hour is about enough when you're shooting large-caliber handguns. Another nearby outdoor range charges $10 per day. The...

    Buying another Kahr PM9...

I recently joined the PM9 club, and I love mine. I'm even thinking of adding a second Kahr to my collection, maybe a P9.

Thinking about getting a new mousegun. Keltec .32 or .380

Go to or . You can find out anything you want to know about Kel-Tecs. I've had a P-32, two P-11s and my current P3AT. I think they are great little guns at a great price. And you can't beat them for concealability.

    Glaser Safety Slugs/MagSafe

The instructor of my CHL class had the unfortunate experience of having to shoot a guy who was shooting at him outside a Dallas-area bank. (Some of you in the DFW area may have taken this guy's class.) The instructor's Glock 27 was loaded with the ultra-high-velocity, lightweight...

    9mm sub-compacts...What to choose?

Your poll left off the two best options for a subcompact 9mm: The Kel-Tec P-11 and the Kahr PM9. They weigh the same (14 ounces unloaded) and are virtually the same size, with the P-11 being slightly bigger. But the P-11 holds four more rounds. If you can afford the price, the PM9 is the...

    Kahr PM9...

I got a chance to take my new PM9 to the range for the first time today. All I can say is: Wow! I really love this pistol. I too had always wanted a Kahr but was turned away by the price. But now that I have one, I understand. The PM9 functioned flawlessly. The recoil was not bad at all...
