i will always have a bottle of hoppes #9 around though. sentimental reasons, many a fond memory growing up, first hunting trips with dad. hunting with my friends when i got older.:)
have you compared it to hoppes? i'd like something that doesn't stink. but i have a hard time beleiving something that isn't toxic or smells to high heaven actually works.:scrutiny:

after a lengthy discussion with my gunsmith, the posts here and over at KTOG, i'm going to stick with the smith 642. lightweight, sleek and stone cold reliable.

i'm looking at the kel tec p11 and the kahr pm9 for front pocket carry. i suspect the kel tec is cheaper but i haven't looked. which has a better track record for reliability since i'll carry it everyday?
i must admit the stainless slide of the kahr is nice, but the od green frame of the kel...
yes, and the 26. same thing with the .40 glocks too. A&G makes a grip extender to fill the extra space.
i remember a post about malfunctions caused by torque on the mag during recoil from the shooters hand. so test thoroughly before relying on.
chris, good point. as far as soft cases, i can slip a gun in the side pocket and it won't get scratched up. or it's easier on the interior of my truck.:D
i think the smaller tool/tackle box size plastics are better suited to ammo, staple gun or hammer. i've seen these type boxes designed...
