Everyone I ever knew that was issued both the M9 and a rifle hated carrying the pistol around. It's weighs down your trousers badly and is somewhat useless when you can just rely on your rifle.

I choose the XD .45 Compact, but sometimes I want a subcompact or compact Glock 9mm or .40 because of the 33/31 rd factory mags. I like the all dark earth colored M&Ps too, but I would never buy the standard finish because it looks beat up even as a nib gun.
I shoot better with Critical Defense than PDX1 (Ranger Bonded). I don't like how the CD is bad with barriers though, so I would still rather just buy other hp designs instead.
I always wanted a M1911 growing up, but now I think that their magazine capacity is to small. For example, S&W makes 8 round .357 magnum revolvers now. The average M1911 only holds 7-8 rounds which is really low for a semi auto. When someone makes a good looking double stack M1911 I'll buy it...
