Took my Model 31-1 completely apart. It was pretty dry inside. I oiled everything and greased the hammer strut pivot stirrup. Nice and slick now.

Muzzle to chamber direction smacking the crown to pieces comes to mind.

Carried and qualled with the M9 in the Navy and Air Force. They never fit my hand correctly. I want to see what the Vertec feels like though. The M9 is a full figured gun and I have small hands. No way around it. Good gun - accurate, capacity, robust etc. too big for me though. Bought one...

I have been handling my NMBH .357 a little more lately. The long arching single action hammer swing isn't as bad as I thought it was or remember so I may drag it out next range trip.

Those look like Dem-Bart tools. I have those same ones. They work pretty well. I think all my cutters are pretty dull however.

I think the flat trigger "gives the perception" of a reduced trigger pull while not actually having a reduced trigger pull. It is the leverage and geometry that I find to make a difference.
