The article states they hit there 500th homicide. I don't see a brakedown of the cause of death. Also, the Chicago Tribune states this is up from the 2007, but the average for the last decade was 700 per year. Isn't one sided reporting great?

I will vouche for an xd subcompact but mine is in .40. But let me tell you, that gun is amazingly accurate for a 3 in barrell.

Both are fine 454 is stronger but there is nothing wrong with .44 mag.

All great guns, but glocks feel akward to me. I own a couple xd's and they are the cats a**. However, you can never go wrong with a 1911, and actually I own that springfield 1911A1 and have no complaints

I personally don't do this but I know a number of gentlemen who feel the same way.

If I could pick one to add to my line up it would be the uberti. But if I had your collection I would say ericyp is right, you do have alot of revolvers already and an auto in the mix would be nice.
