    Carrying two pistols?

He might not "belong" but he'll sure invite himself whenever he feels like it! I feel carrying a BUG is appropriate if you are a "belt AND suspenders" kind of guy. It's a personal choice I feel has both merits and drawbacks, but to dismiss the idea out of hand is silly.

Latest Reviews on the HiPoint C9

Heh, I feel dirty when buying tools at Harbor Freight, but then I don't feel so guilty when I only use them twice a year. Sometimes (not every time, not even most of the time) cheap is the answer.

I have a newer pt92 with the integrated rail on the frame and yes, mine does have the lock. It's low on the backstrap.

My reasons for wanting a thumb safety

Safety or no? I think it's more important that you pick a single manual-of-arms that makes sense to you and stick to it.

What is a reasonable price for transfer of a firearm through an FFL

A shop close by me charges $25, but he quoted me such a good price to order the gun I wanted, I ended up buying directly from him.

    The new Caracal pistol w/vid!

Looks like it has the exact same front-strap angle as a glock, although the back strap is quite different. So what else does it have going for it other than a low number of parts? A great man once said, "Make things as simple as possible, but no simpler" While I think your subtle humor has...

    External safety for Glock?

The manual safety argument is a circular one - if you're smart enough to practice trigger discipline, you're smart enough to use a manual safety. Likewise, if you're too stupid to practice trigger discipline, then a manual safety isn't going to save you. My gut feeling is that adding a manual...

    External safety for Glock?

What makes me feel safe? People making sound decisions. If you don't want to carry a weapon with an external safety (and do it safely) that's great, I'm all for individualism. But don't try to justify your opinion with a logically flawed argument, especially under the guise of "helpful advice"...

    External safety for Glock?

A common myth among the "glock faithful" is that to practice trigger discipline, you absolutely MUST carry a firearm without an external safety. To date, no one has actually proven this assertion, but they like the sound of it so much, it just pops out of their keyboards all the time...

    External safety for Glock?

Don't post that! Don't you know glocks are PERFECT! :) Seriously though, you can't buy one of those, they were made at the request of one big government contract. Which government, I do not recall.
