PSA seems to be the best value for what you get. I have mainly PSA frankenrifle that runs like a top. I have a relative that has a bunch of their stuff and has had zero complaints.

I feel extremely well armed with my gp100 stoked with 6 rounds of .357.

There are many high quality SD loadings for .38 special, how many are there for 7.62 Nagant? There are many far better options for self defense, although I would feel better armed than I would with a .25 or .22.

If I carried a snub .38, this is what I would use.

I probably would have put some work into getting it to run right, but I found over time that I just didn't have much use for a .22WMR.

I did not like mine. Jammed pretty frequently and had a bad trigger.

Mine's totally reliable without any f&b to the internals. $100 is a steal any way you look at it.

I went ahead and ordered a wolff 20# recoil spring and extra power firing pin spring. We'll see how that works.
