I don't mind simple, unobtrusive LCIs. But overly large or complex ones are unwelcome. Still, I'd take an LCI any day over an internal lock. I don't want anything on my gun that's designed to make it inoperable!
I had a PF-9. Several Kel-Tecs actually. But I sold them all because I just didn't trust them after some reliability and parts breakage problems with my PF-9. I've never had any problems with my Bersa Thunder .380 or 383A.
I'd take pretty much any Bersa over any Kel-Tec. Better yet, I'd...
I wish I could report my experience, but I'm still on the waiting list... shouldn't be too much longer. I'll be looking forward to your report, and any other replies.
I've had no issues with my XDs. It shoots great. No light primer hits or any other issues with Blazer Brass FMJ, Gold Dots and Golden Sabers. I plan to run another 150 rounds through it along with some CorBon SD ammo. I expect it to run 100%.
Now I just need to find the right holster...

Different hand shapes seem to react differently to the recoil of certain guns. I can't shoot 1...
I like the older HKs. I currently have a P7 and a USP .45c. But I hope to add a P9S, HK4, and VP70 to my collection soon. And someday an SP89 (or MP5 if I have the extra $$).
The new models don't really interest me much.
Just an idea... maybe check out HDS. The HDS Clicky comes with a bezel down clip, and can be set up to come on in high mode with one click, and turn off with another click.
