I have also thought of doing an ar in a 20 cal. The one I'm interested in is the 20 Practical, which also uses 223 brass with less work than the Tactical. Since you have'nt ruled out revolvers may I suggest a Smith 617. They are accurate, easy to shoot and the trigger is so shuweeeet. It will run you more money than the semi's though.

I have one of those too and it shoots great but the trigger is very heavy. Go to snipercountry.com and look in the how to section. I worked on mine and its at least two pounds lighter. If you want it lighter you're gonna need a lighter spring.

Viking, I had a complete Kadet that seemed very well made and fed reliably, however accuracy was average and its a b***h to load without some type of a magazine loader. I would buy a Ruger or Browning instead. My 2 cents.

I've got one in .223 blue with a 4.5x14 nikon on it and I'm very pleased with it. It will shoot a .6 group at 100 yards no problem with sierra 52gr. hpbt. The trigger is heavy but crisp. My next job is to lighten it up a little. Overall a light weight accurate rig.
