Oddly enough, in Alaska it seems that 9.3x62 is about as common as 375 H&H... Meaning only a few special shops have it in stock in small quantities and we can't order online, at least easily.
I really do wish the 338 RCM were supported by Ruger and Hornady. It's a brilliant little cartridge and...
What's the difference??
Neither are based on the old 98 and seem to be short throw push feeds. I know the M12 will have better finish quality.
But engineering wise, what's different? Action? Bolt and lugs? Extractor/ejector? Barrel attachment??
I'm really intrigued by the Sauer 100 and Mauser...
I'm considering a big boy rifle for brown bear and maybe moose. I currently hunt with a 338 RCM and want a legendary cartridge that won't get dropped (I'm grumpy with Hornady).

It's a great rifle with great features considering I snagged my 6.5 for $600 and 30-06 will be a tad over $350 after sale plus rebate.
The recall was a hot mess but also dumb since it's...
Also, they may use ST1, ST2, ST3 for action length, as evidenced by some Lux models.
Seems this might be a new model all the same.
Either way, here's hoping.
As always, I'm always scrolling Euro Optic website and noticed they have a new rifle listed in their SKUs but no info.
Same way I saw the Steyr Prohunter iii were coming out.
Listed as "ST2" and "ST3". But nothing else other than listings being built into their site.
Can't see how those...
