The other day I was at the bank and the teller asked a man for his id in order to get cash back during a deposit. The guy was furious and called the young women behind the counter an idiot and a thief and...

First off, it is hard to beat a man to death with anything, much less a beer mug. I have comforted plenty of people who got beat down and have wondered how they could have possibly survived their ordeal, but they frequently do.
I've never personally had to comfort a rape victim...
I have owned several ARs and like you I got tired of them. I recently sold everything but the .50 Beowolf. I had enough money at the end to buy a Brand new Steyr Tactical Scout with a fair amount left over. The market for ARs is incredible by the way, so you should have no trouble getting a lot...
This is the last place where this argument should take place, because it inevitably leads to people questioning gun laws. I consider this to be one of the few forums where I can be open about my love of shooting and collecting firearms.
We are all responsible gun owners, but the ready...
I hope that one day I have a gun collection that belongs in a museum. Need to get 100+ historically relevant guns first though.
If anyone ever has a weekend vacation in mind I recommend a trip out to Tulsa. There is a Wildlife preserve and Western-themed museum near Bartlesville called...
Alright, a lot of quality information here and I won't be able to get to it all before I go to work this morning.
Thanks so much for everyone who responded. That is why I love the High Road. Lots of good people on here who really take your questions seriously. A lot of knowledge and emphasis...

You might be the first person I have ever heard say that it is OK to drink and wield a gun... That said, I do not know of incident like what your described, but I know that people show lax judgement when drinking.
I just think there is some logic to limiting guns in a place where fights are...

I really like the idea of sending him to a hunter safety course. I think that is what I will do for his birthday. He is a really low-key and responsible young man, and I think he really would enjoy it if they will have someone his age...
Colleges maybe, but I would not be comfortable with my nephew's teacher being armed. She is a fruitcake.
One place where I agree that guns do not belong is in a bar. Booze and guns do not mix.
My brother is overseas and I am handling all of his affairs while he is gone, including his son who is nearing 10 years old. My brother and I have been shooting since we were about 6 years old and I think it is essential to introduce kids to guns as young as you can if you are in a gun-friendly...
Maybe they are available, but you can't see them because they are clear? :uhoh:
I found a set for a 1934 Beretta on eBay, but that is about it. I have heard this topic breached before and the point has always been raised that Lucite and plastic wouldn't survive cleaning.
Still, some...
I have a pair of 20 gauge Browning Auto-5s that I inherited a while back, and I wanted to get some information on them. I have looked at their website and read the guide but I cannot seem to figure it out.
I have one with a rib that has 71z on the top line and one without a rib that has 7z on...
I have a pair of Browning Auto-5s in 20 gauge that I am looking to sell, but I wanted to get some information on them first. I have looked at their website and read the guide but I cannot seem to figure it out.
I have one with a rib that has 71z on the top line and then a 5 digit code...
