I think it's a great idea. I became a gun owner and much more of an advocate for 2nd ammendment rights after a friend took me to the range.
No Offense, Freeholder, but I have to take issue with your "Devils advocate" position. There is no need to have an NRA ceretification to take a friend...
Wow, and I was worried that my post might give offense. Really, though I was thinking sort of the same thing, except that I think it screams 'armed dork'.
I don't post here often, but I feel the need to point something out. The only people who wear fanny packs in the 21st century are people with guns. You may as well carry openly. I suppose there are one or two exceptions, but I think that the only people who are fooled by the fanny pack...
That's the problem with CAs toxic laws. If everything has a warning on it, how do you know when to take it seriously? If everything causes cancer, than nothing does.
Now I'm going to look REALLY clueless

Is this a decent gun? Is there anything I should know about it...

I was thinking the same thing. Disarming bombs in a war zone is all in a days work for a jarhead. Now, if he'd disarmed 64 in one DAY, and used the explosives to take out several insurgents, captured Bin Laden, and saved a little girl and three kittens from a burning building, then he might...
That's what I read, too. You know the rules of gun safety, never jump on a trampoline with a handgun (Long guns are OK as long as they have a safety engaged)
I just moved to WA from CA about 8 months ago, and I couldn't be happier. My wife, 3yo son and I were living in the second worst neighborhood in Long Beach. Snoop-Doggies old "hood", to be precise (I owned a 3-plex near the intersection of LB Blvd and Anaheim Rd, if anyone knows the...
