Gem-Tech answered my email
Someone from Gem-Tech answered my email to them. They didn't specify what the factory thread on the SIG 1911-22 barrel was; however, it is a RH thread.
Choice depends on use of course. Concealed carry most of the time is 40 or 45 in a Kahr or Kimber respectively. Based on where I go, I don't feel the need to carry a HICAP; I generally leave the Glock 21 in the truck when/if I feel the need. My smallest 9s are a 92FS and P226, but they are...
I would stick with the .40 S&W even if I could get a .357 SIG barrel. I have had both in a SIG pistol, but I retired the .357SIG barrel to the gun safe. It's a PITA to reload the .357SIG.
Here is a silical desiccant pack that I use. I have two, but you only need one. You can make them last longer if you heat the inside of the safe with a dehumidifier. If you open your safe frequently, which you will at first.

Most of the high quality US made safes are made in Utah. Do your research and take a road trip, but not to save on shipping. Enjoy the adventure. The safe that I have is six foot tall, about 48 inches wide, has six shelves and hold 33 long guns all at the same time. Not sure of the...
The ones on the Kahr website are not made by them, but their pricing is fair.
I have a couple of mag carriers for Kahr pistols.
I have some leather ones from Alessi holsters. Mine are stamped K-40 and are very nice. Alessi holsters is now back up and running after Lou's passing. Great...
Let me know how you like it. A flashlight, handcuffs, and pistol have always worked fine for me when "things go bump in the night". The more time consuming effort for me has always been getting my pants on. I wouldn't keep any gun under the bed; 'The dust bunnys will get it.'
I have shot several different jacketed reloads in my Kahr K-40 and Mk-40 with no problems. It is quite easy to produce more accurate reloads than the factory WW white box ammo. I am impressed with Kahr for repairing the pistol at their expense.
Semi-Auto Snubs?
Although not techically thought of a snubs since they are not revolvers. I am quite found of the Kahr MK-40 and K40 Covert Models.
I like my revolvers with barrels 4" or longer.
