I have two Spar-T's. My first is the the one the OP is showing but has a (cracked) primer cup that I bought around 1977. The second I pick up a slightly used set up on fleebay a few years ago cheap. I agree with others on the pins. The other area to check is make sure there is not a primer stuck...

I will also order the 50th when it comes out to go along with my 49th and the one I bought40 years ago when I first started reloading. Back then reading that manual was the only way I learned as I didn't know anyone that reloaded.

I can attest to this. Placed my order at 10am Wednesday and was in my mail box Friday at 2pm in MA.

I used cubicle work surfaces with a work bench base. The stuff is hard and easy to clean and heavy. Does not flex at all. Another great bench top is to go to a commercial door company and see if they have any damaged solid wooden doors. I have one on my first bench in my basement.

A ultrasonic cleaner will never beat a tumbler with SS pins to get your brass shinny. That said I de-prime, ultrasonic clean, size and the they go in a vibratory for a few hours to make them shinny. I know extra steps. I like running clean brass through my dies. I have well water and it leaves...

I have been using Xtreme 180gr for about two years now. Titegroup is one of my go to powders at this time. 4.4gn with a COL of 1,125 works well in my M&P's

Ugly brass I have some ugly brass in S&W .40 up for grabs. The reason it's ugly is I forgot about it in my ultrasonic cleaner for about a month. It would take a week or so in my vibrator clean or so. But if someone has a wet tumbler I think they will clean up just fine. I took a polishing wheel...
