What's the appropriate caliber for ninjas????

Pistol calibers work. You've just got to have something loaded supersonic, So they can't hear the bullet coming. It's got to sneak up on them. :D

    Help with gun cabinet's lock

If the pen trick doesn't work, You can grind the matching tab off the key. You end up with a key that can be removed with the lock in any position, but it gets it open.

I guess we High Road members are all murder suspects now

Don't know where the judge got that 1% thing, But it kinda worries me. I live in Hudson, And if this guy thinks that's so unusual I wonder what he thinks of someone who loads their own ammo. The whole thing, from the murders on in seems a bit strange.

    whoa

:what: Well, at least it's only HIS rear end on the line if it goes off... He trying for a Darwin award or something? Because I think he's more than halfway there already.

    Lathe what size/kind 4 accuratizing REM 700's?

I've got a lathe almost exactly like that. I wouldn't reccomend it. Setting up for threading is a pain (Have to swap gears), It's too small overall, and way too light. It can work, But it's size will limit what you can do with it and how much work that will be. 3/4" will limit you to skinny...

(TX) The lesson here is, don't rob a man named Kimber...

Probably means released by the hospital, Not the police.

US Police vs. UK Police ???

The numbers I've got for falling bullets are for a .308 150 gr. flat base: 300 fps, 30 ft-lb. It probably wouldn't do more damage than a bruise and a headache if the person was standing up. But I'm not going to volunteer to stand under one, either. That's gonna HURT.

    Some what amusing Bumper Sticker

Eventually I'll get around to having one of those custom bumper-sticker places make me up one that reads: Save A Tree - Use Parchment

    what caliber for spiders?

Airguns work well at close range (<4 in.) without any projectile at all. Bug bits all over. Reccomend firing first shot into a pellet trap, Second at bug on window. Taping broken glass back together just doesn't work well. :)

    .17 Mach 2 Machine gun

I don't think reliability would be a problem. If the action is run off an electric motor misfired rounds get cycled out with the empty brass. Who cares if you only get 990 rounds downrange out of a thousand-round belt?

Your favorite "saturday night special?" No gun hate please.

That would be..... My Raven .25 Light, dead reliable and small. would work for shirt-pocket carry if concealed carry was legal here. (WI) Only problem is getting brass for reloading. It ejects straight up and back, and most brass hits the top of my head and then goes flying off in...

Local Officials Want Feds Help Fighting Meth Epidemic

Meth production cost? Has anyone found any solid numbers on the cost of meth production in an illegal lab VS mass production by a (Legal) drug company? I've looked, and the only numbers I've come up with (http://www.kci.org/meth_info/faq_meth.htm) is $80-$100/gram. No mention of the cost as...

    New inexpensive respiratory protection

Well, It does put the filter further away from the dust. Not sure how much that would actually help filter life, though. Downside is how do you talk? But this would work where a regular face mask won't seal properly. Beards Anyone?

    Confession of the BTK killer

That surprised me, too. How actively cooperative some people were, and the stupid stuff that this guy did that he still got away with. He thinks to cut phone lines and remembers to bring wire cutters for it. But he doesn't bring something to tie people up with, When that was the plan from the...

Guns in apt with a roomate?

Another vote for the locking gun cabinet But if that's not practical (Space, Holes in the wall, or whatever) Get a pistol safe with a steel cable on it and PERMANENTELY cable it to a water pipe, a bedframe or whatever you have that can't be removed from the apartmant easily. Store the bolt or...
