This comes from my friend in the legislature:
There was about 400 hundred Pro gun people there, about one anti to every 30, they had to open up another room to put us in.
I do have complete bills on the assault and 50 caliber ban, they do not have senate numbers still.
The highlights...
Dig a little deeper before you cast it off as BS........ Here's what you're looking for......
Washington Arms Collectors is the only gun show in Washington and they require background checks in order to become a member. Only members can buy firearms. Doesn't this make the bill meaningless or...
Guys,
This is an extremely important piece of information that I received from a Republican Legislator who I know personally. It's frightening, so let's try and do something about this before it's too late!!!! Pass it on to every gun owner you know in WA. Send it to the NRA, GOA, and every...
I have a SS Interarms Walther TPH .22 and it shoots like there's no tomorrow!
It does like the high velocity rounds the best: Stingers, QuikShocks, YellowJackets, etc. Never had a single problem with it. One of my favorite DEEP conceal BUGs.

A lot of the heavy class .50 cal guns are guns only in the sense that they have a barrel. They weigh in excess of 50-75 lbs, don't have a stock, and resemble a rail gun. They're ultra precise, but made for one thing......the long range benchrested shot. The human factor is nearly eliminated...
Gewehr98,
I wasn't implying that your use was going to be casual. The rounds are perfect for your plans, and are an added measure of insurance for you and your hunt. With the overall costs running well in excess of $10K, you don't want to use White Box Winchester from Wally World! :D ;)...
Just a quick FYI guys.......
These aren't tungsten cored, they're tungsten SOLIDS. That's why the price is so high.
$20 a pop isn't for the casual range outing. These you take with you to Kodiak Island or to the dark continent of Africa.
Definitely not for the faint of heart...
At "Benning School for Boys" I was issued a GM Turbo Hydro-matic Division M16A1. Man, was that thing put through the mill before I got it!!!! Not much finish left on her when I got it.......but she shot true.
No doubt in my mind it saw the jungles of SEA.
Cheers,
Mike
I agree for this reason...
CQB doesn't just apply to indoor operations. MOUT and AMOUT ops are also CQB, and I'd much rather have my squad rifle there than I would a friggin MP5. Anyday.
As for indoor, I'd take an M4 over an MP5 anyday for an overall weapon.
Sure there would be times...
I know you said "squad rifle", but do you mean that, or are you refering to the new SOCOM?
I can speak for the squad rifle......
It's a great rifle, very accurate, easier to move around than one with a full length barrel, and is a fun gun to shoot. The blast is a little higher with the...
Amen.
I will add, however, that for certain missions, the LR capability of the 7.62x51 is a must have! Open desert warfare could fall under that caveat.
Cheers,
Mike
