Sale price ending on XD9 subcompact and Glock 26, which one?

You said it all when you said you would give '"the slight edge'" to the Glock after handling both. The better feeling gun will be remembered long after the $30 price difference is forgotten--And, yes, those are very good prices.

    California ALERT! Semi-autos in danger!

Kick-out CA?...Who is next? NJ? MA? NY? IL? And with each victory the antis get bolder, stronger, more confident. And when new antis surface from among the remaining states what happens? Kick-out those states, too? Seems like a path to endless shrinkage, backpedaling and weakness to me...

    California ALERT! Semi-autos in danger!

coyote_jr, I must admit, the Keanu factor is one benefit I never considered. But seriously, CA is not lost, not yet. Excluding Los Angeles and San Francisco, much of the rest of the state is fairly conservative. A "cancer" spreads rapidly when nothing is done to prevent its spread...

    California ALERT! Semi-autos in danger!

Hardcase, The "border amnesty" is not just a CA issue, but a national one, too. People cross through AZ and TX, as well. Once an individual crosses into the U.S., there is little to prevent him from relocating in any state. Regarding the Second Amendment, "Where should we retreat to...?"...

    California ALERT! Semi-autos in danger!

Often times I see Californians advised to flee the state and move to a more gun-friendly state...To just give-up. Consider this--Out of 538 nation-wide electoral votes, California holds 55 (53 reps and 2 senators). Roughly 1 in every 8 Americans lives in California. The more pro-Second...

    Opinions On Older Ruger KP89DC

Thanks for the feedback, guys...So far, it looks unanimous that it is a solid, solid piece of equipment. Reliability and durability are at the top of my list for must-haves in a firearm, or any other tool for that matter.

    Determining Value of Used Guns

Thanks for the replies so far. The reason I asked the original question is sometimes an FFL or gun shop will have two identical used models for sale, this time LNIB, the only difference is one is older. I would imagine they were obtained through an estate sale or something similar. When it...

    Opinions On Older Ruger KP89DC

I just acquired a Ruger KP89DC and I am looking specifically for opinions on the early production models, manufactured around 1991 or so. I know Ruger used a P85 frame on the initial P89 pistols as they transitioned from the P85 to the P89, but any additional information would be appreciated...

    Determining Value of Used Guns

Hello, All. When determining how much a used gun is worth, do you decrease value if the gun is older? If you were looking at two identical models in exactly the same condition, would a two-year-old model be worth the same amount, worth more, or worth less than a ten-year-old version? For...
