Sig p226/9 classic .22. Give you the option to convert to 9mm, .40, or .357 sig later. I have no experience with it, but it seems like a great option.

I'm considering getting either the p229 or p226 classic 22, and then a caliber exchange kit for .40 S&W. From what I understand, the classic 22's are either the p220, p226, or p229 frame with a .22 conversion kit. Is the .22 kit worth it? I know .22 pistols can be hit or miss, so I was wondering...
