140 gr slug without a doubt. I have found this bullet to be great for the most part.

Went with a Colt series 70 but got a steal of a deal on it. Any of the three you mentioned are worthy guns by almost any standard. All are quality firearms with a solid Rep! A basic model from any of them will more than likely serve you in fine form and fashion.

FWIW....I used Corbons +P 124 gr HP's for carry only and would only shoot a half a clip or so when practicing after shooting a few boxes of standard power loads in the same bullet weight. I wouldnt shoot that type ammo on a regular basis in a gun as its kinda tough on them.

Okay so your suggesting the 1 in 7 barrel will still do a decent job shooting the 62-69 grain bullets and allow me the option of the heavier 75's....
