A lesson in being too judgemental or How to be humbled.

:cool:leadcouncil is right, sorry to say but the constitution does not apply to private individuals or private businesses. the constitution was designed to prevent government from making citizens into subjects. if the airlines want to ban gun from their planes, then so be it. the only things you...

A lesson in being too judgemental or How to be humbled.

in an ideal world you are correct. however mistakes happen even to the best of us, be it forgetting that a range bag you carried two years ago still has a speed loader in one of the pockets, or forgetting to make sure your vehicle is in gear so it wont roll backwards on you when you get out of...

    Warrior mindset?

easyg, as i stated before, the warrior mindset does have applications outside a fight for life and death. in business for instance you need to have that mindset to handle many situations that inevitably pop up. it doesnt matter if you are doing battle with a weapon or a pen, everything is a...

A scenario that has me thinking...

going under the assumption that he is unarmed, i am too old and too fat to run away, thus my firs thought is disable this idiot to end the fight. the easiest way to do that is blow out their knee. as was said in the movie road house, it doesnt matter how big or strong your opponent is, if you...

    Warrior mindset?

excellent post leadcouncel; i will add one more item to the warrior mindset, and that is the ability to calm yourself in an emergency situation. you dont have to be under threat of attack to put this to use. for instance lets say you are working late into the evening, or early in the morning...

    2nd Amendment's Actual Meaning?

:cool:one thing that no one has pointed out, that i can see, is that the supreme court has consistently held that when the constitution uses the word "people" that they mean the individual person, not a state, not a group of people, etc. thus the last part of the second amendment; the right...

    Warrior mindset?

sun tzu's tactics work under all conditions, even in the business world. any potential confrontation requires that you consider what tactics you will use if said confrontation chances to come about.

    After a self defense shooting.

:cool:unless you are convicted of a crime that strips you of your rights, you will eventually get your gun back, but depending on your jurisdiction you may have to jump through a bunch of hoops, and cut your way through a ton of red tape to get it back.

Large intoxicated man causing problems at a show. What would YOU do?

:cool:the first thing to do is avoid the fight. the minute things start to go south, walk away. if you are attacked, then defend yourself with as little force as possible. that will depend on how drunk the guy is. if he can barely walk, slurs his words, and in general seems uncoordinated, then...

    Warrior mindset?

:cool:the true warrior mindset is one that allows you to avoid a fight if possible, but if not possible, to do your best to win the fight, and if you lose, to try and stay alive to fight another day if needed, and if you are dieing, you die with honor and accept your ultimate fate.

thinking about getting a new gun to replace

actually i already have a .45, but i want something that is more comfortable when carrying concealed. my witness compact is a nice gun, but it is a little too big and heavy to carry concealed comfortably.

thinking about getting a new gun to replace

i have been thinking about that. i like both rounds, so i am conflicted as to which one i like better. 9mm is less expensive to shoot, but .40S&W hits harder.
