mine is an early PO version and from the factory would shoot completely off target, bushmaster fixed it, even though I bought it used and never had any problems since.
the down side, is it is very light, and difficult to do quick follow up shots, a regular ar, after you take a shot the front...
I think it is a bad idea. absolutly no demand for it.
If they make a 9mm version, people will not buy it, most would get an uzi, ar in 9mm, or if they want the rifle stock a rugar pc-9. all really don't sell well.
the carbine sells because of history, really only rifle in the caliber...
I like FN because it is pretty pro civilian gun owner, in fact I support them by buying everything I can that is FN.
Didn't know those union guys drove winchester 94 into the ground, typical
I have a remington Model 7 in 308 win. I was wondering how different the reciever is and can I use a stock made for a remington 700 short action?
thanks
AI magazines were inland, BUT there are alot of fake mags around, most or almost all fakes are 30 rounders. If it is AI and a 15 rounder it is original GI, os it must be damaged in some way. If it is a 30 rounder and AI and not working it is likely a fake, most fakes I've owed never worked well...

That should pretty much stop those ridiculous rumors that the 30 carbine can not go through a...

Well the galil has better sights so it is easier to shoot better groups. Also there are only 3 galils, the original IMI, Ohio rapid fire reciever versions (century, ohio rapid fire (ORF), etc) and RED stick which is not a galil but a saiga with galil furniture.
AK, there are several choices...
Up to 100 yards I don't think it will be a problem, but at 200 yards, light transmission is poor as well as resolution, doubt you will see a .22 hole in the black.
I really don't think there are any good optics you can use at 200 yards that are under $300.
BTW you can go to midwayusa and...
Got a reloading press years ago and since then have put a couple of 1000 rounds through my taurus tracker and now the cylinder does not spin freely but seems a bit slow. was wondering how i can remove the cylinder to clean it? the online manual does not mention the procedure.

No No NO, The reciever stretch is an internet rumor and applies to the old No4 actions which were converted to 308.
These recievers were made for the 308 not 303
I had one I shot 500 rounds through without any problems, got rid of it and got one which I am modifying/butchering to look like...
I thought it was illegal to bring any firearms into the state of california if you are visiting, if you are not going to or coming from a shooting competition. Believe I read that out california DOJ website long ago.
