You've Come a Long Way, Baby...

In 1957 or 1958 Hugh O’Brien came to the Municipal Auditorium in San Jose where I lived. My uncle worked for the city and took me down to see him promote this show. For a nine or ten year old it was by far my favorite TV show at the time. I don’t remember what he had to say, but I have a picture...

    Wadcutters tumbling?

These wadcutters are DEWC-BB from Missouri Bullet Company, measure .358 and have a Brinell of 12. The bore is clean with no leading visible or coming off on patches run through it. These are the only wadcutters I shoot. I have reloaded this particular load for the last 37 years, usually shot in...

    Wadcutters tumbling?

Thanks but the Post-its are stuck to the back of a target taped to a cardboard backing.

    Wadcutters tumbling?

At the range yesterday and decided to end the session with my 442 S&W. I had a couple of dozen 148 grain wadcutters with 2.8 grains of Bullseye in my bag so I pulled them out and loaded up. I was shooting at 7 yards at 3x3” Post-its, I was out of my 2x2”s. I noticed the holes seemed a little...

Hate to beat a dead horse(another Servicios & Aventuras SPP post)

This really is a dead horse. Lots of threads already here and every other forum. Plenty of speculation as to why reloaders have problems with them. People either have no problems with them or nothing but problems with them. I have yet to see a long thread with nothing but accolades for them, but...

    New storage totes for mags.

Do you seal those plastic baggies? I would think they would be better if left open.

Anyone Ordered from Missouri Bullet Company Lately?

I placed my order on Monday and it arrived today, Friday. I plan ahead so I’m not stressed if it takes a little longer than expected. They are worth the wait In my opinion.

    Pocket holster for cargo pockets

I’ve been a fan of Recluse holsters for quite a while. They make cargo pants holsters, but I haven't tried them. I carry a Kahr P380, Kahr PM9, and a S&W J frame in Recluse in my front pocket and am very satisfied with them. I’ve been just as happy with them in my back pocket when I’ve tried...

Ruger PCC and red dot mounting location

I’ve got mine over the receiver and never have any problems with it. Mine is usually taken down for storage and put together at the range. I have never had to change the settings for range work out to 75 yards.

Drop in 9mm barrel for G22 question?

This has been my experience with converting my Glock 22 Gen 2 to 9MM. Same Lone Wolf barrel, nothing else changed, including using both 40 and 9MM magazines. I have both barrels on my CCW, counts as one gun.

Dillon Square Deal B Rebuild - Great Service

I’ve sent my Square Deal in twice to Dillon. First time was after 10 years of use and I just wanted it cleaned up and reset to factory settings. Little things were off just a bit and bugged me. I paid for shipping and I think $65.00 for the rebuild. I got lots of little parts replaced that...

Advice from a professional. -Lube your pistol cases.

I’ve been spraying lube in a bag and shaking the brass around for a while now, especially 9MM brass. I then add in unlubed, cleaned brass after the lube has dried and mix them together, probably a 33% lubed to unlubed mix. This works for me in keeping everything moving nice and smooth. It really...

    Unusual concept

I used to have plastic bullets that were primer fired. I shot them in my garage. The case was black plastic shaped liked a .38 Special and the bullet were red plastic shaped like a round nose bullet. You primed them, put them together and fired at old phone books. The targets should give you an...

    Pancake for M&P

Take a look at 1791 Gunleather. I’ve been impressed with their holsters and their price. You can find them on Amazon or if you order from them, they offer a discount on your first purchase.
