    Some one please tell me?

I believe they're made at the same plant, same gun. The RI's have that (for me) unsitely logo on the slide. I have one of the High Standards, it's been great. For some reason the HS's seem to be cheaper, I bought mine on Gun Broker for $350. I've switched some parts (trigger, hammer, ms...

Why does the intratec tec 9 jam?

It makes you question their marketing when they advertise that the texture on the plastic grip makes IDing fingerprints impossible. Who is their target market????

Why does the PKM Light Machine Gun eject to the left?

Some are designed to have the ability to fed left or right so that they can be dual mounted (not ejecting into its partners feed mech).

    1905 savage 32 auto pistal

I have a 1907 and I love it. Mine functions flawlessly, 10rds, loaded chamber indicator, striker fired (what looks like a hammer is really for cocking the striker), excellent little gun. The sights are minimal. 10yds and under there not necessary anyway, it's an excellent point and shoot gun...

AMT Automag III in 30 Carbine caliber

It has been my experience that the AMT guns in .30 carbine, .357 mag, and .22 mag are single shot pistols at best. If it actually cycles and chambers the next round it is a miracle. JAM-O-MATIC Others may have diffent experiences though. Rusty

Who else likes the Browning Hi Power? pic...

I have good luck with my Ciener conversion. It functions just fine with all sorts of .22 LR. It is a lot of fun shoot, no recoil. The only drawback, if it is one, is that the Ciener conversions do not lock the slide to the rear on the last round. I have heard all kinds of negative things...

Who else likes the Browning Hi Power? pic...

The blued and the nickled are both 9's circa 1980. I got tired of switching out slides to my Ciener .22 conversion so I bought a Charles Daly frame and built up a designated .22. Then along came the .40 Practical at price I could not pass up. And now for an Inglis.....

    1967 Colt Cobra Snubby...

Nice score, that's a real beauty. I agree with you about the older Colt's, my 1966 manufactured Python is the sweetheart of my collection. I've been looking for that very same Cobra myself, they don't seem to be growing on trees around here, especially in that condition. Well done. Rusty

Best Day Ever at a Gun Show

That does sound like a nice haul! It's just I had something else in mind when I read the title of the post... Something more like...."scantilly clad bikini models models handing out free chocolate shakes with winning lotto tickets stuck to the bottom all while standing in a very short line...

    Tell about 32 acp

I can't believe no one has mentioned my favorite .32 yet. I love my Savage model 1907. Double stack mag (10rnds), striker fired, loaded chamber indicator. Sights are minimal, but not necessary out to 10yards anyway. It appeared to hit like a hammer for Jude Law in "Road to Purdition"...

    Hi Power failure to feed

Perhaps it is the polished feedramp. I asked my Armorer (Gsmith at browning for 17 yrs) about the feed ramps on my HP's, he said "they're rough from the factory for a reason, leave 'em alone!" So I have, no issues with fmj or jhp's. Rusty

    Rem 870 question

I've had good luck with using a (19mm?) socket and very carefully driving it into the tube to pop them out. Food for thought anyway. Rusty
