Good point Evbutler, The limbsaver does compress when on the shoulder. Stoeger should add the limbsaver as an option to the M2000 like they do the mercury reducer. I was so impressed with it, I'm replacing the gel pad on my Beretta and puting one on my Citori superlight.
The # 10008 model Limbsaver is not a slip on. It replaces the original pad on the M2000. It is however a little thicker than the original, I believe it added about 3/8" to the LOP.
I had a silver reserve I bought at Walmart for my son. It would mis fire 1 out of every 10 shots. I sold it to a friend of mine who said he didn't care about the misfire because I gave it to him at a 125.00 loss. You get what you pay for !!! You might get a good one, you might get a lemon...
Last week I installed a limbsaver on my M2000. Believe me that's all you need. after I installed it the recoil went down to 28GA level. Limbsaver makes them to fit the 2000 perfectly. just take 2 screws out of the existing pad and use the same 2 screws to add the new limbsaver. You will be...
I purchased a 25 year old Citori superlight, fixed chokes IC/MOD,12GA, 26", English stock. The gun has had hardly no use, It came in the original box with manual. The gun is in 99% condition. the only flaw is a small mark on the stock the size of a grain of rice. I purchased it on an online...
I went out today to finally breakin my M2000. This was the second outing the first was only a hand full of shells.
I shot 4 boxes of heavy 1 1/8 oz game load today. I had only one time the shell did not feed into the reciever ( I contribute this to breakin)
I do love the new limb saver...
I'm at the range today sighting in my new VX-3 on a marlin 30-30.
i was using the Hornady leverrevolution bullets. I had bought a box last year that had 6 rounds left in it. I also had a new box i purchased this year.
I used the old ammo first( only 1 yr. old) I had the group at 2"...
mossy O/U
I have a Stoeger 2000 and a Mossberg silver reserve O/U. I really like the Stoeger, but for clays the mossberg O/U is the way to go. I got mine at Wal-Mart for $ 477.00. The gun is well balanced and almost points itself, It's made in turkey for Mossberg international.
