Yeah, you've really got to appreciate the triggers on these rifles. I couldn't ask for a better one. Recoil? I'd say much less than a typical light weight sporter .30-06. The rifle weighs damn near 10lbs. I think it's quite comfortable to shoot compared to other full sized rifles.

If there is no importer, probably the closest thing is who made the barrel and reciever. It's either SIG or Hammerli. You have to remove the stock and look underneath. If it's a SIG, it will have an "N" with a rifle across the N (some just have the N) stamped, and a Hammerli (I think) has a...

It's just to seal it from moisture. Some people swear it makes the rifle more accurate, but there doesn't seem to be any real evidence for that.

No. I believe SAR actually stands for Semi Automatic Rifle. They contain many of the same parts, but the recievers were never full auto capable.
