    Bump in the night loadout?

Oooh! I'm honoured! Welcome back. :D

    Bump in the night loadout?

Pfft. Don't drive. Actually, I don't even go outside, you kidding? I just sit at home on my computer all day long in my wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling padded home, clutching my AR-15 as I wait for additional ammunition to be delivered to round out my my 996,000+ round stockpile, sweating...

    Bump in the night loadout?

I suppose I did, perhaps too hastily. But even if it might work, I do feel it'd be a bit much. I don't want to be 'that guy' - Lord Tacticool of the Seventy Tactical Pouches. Perhaps this convo ought to migrate to tactics on another thread. It's sounding like an understanding of tactics and...

    Bump in the night loadout?

Sounds like what I really need to invest in is proper training. Mind==blown. These are the nuggets you search for. I have a short 870P already, but it's difficult to get to and get ready quickly. I haven't found a solution to balance keeping it secure and accessible. Of course not...

    Bump in the night loadout?

I like the idea of pepper spray. If cleaning it up after subduing someone is the worst I have to deal with, I've done well. My pop likes to tell this story from when he was a younger lad on his own, and had a fellow climb right into his apartment bedroom through the window next to his bed...

    Bump in the night loadout?

To be honest, the thing that concerns me most is all the stuff coming up lately about folks not going down despite the extra holes. I've only got 10 rounds, and 10 rounds doesn't feel like a lot if it might take multiple good hits centre mass to stop a threat.

    Bump in the night loadout?

That's the idea as of now. But that doesn't leave me anywhere to hold an extra mag. Or a phone. I've even toyed with the idea of going full garage-mod and just gluing two magazines together end-to-end.

Need help in choosing a 9mm

I was fairly recently in this same boat. Also came here to help decide. I was able to try a few out to see what I liked, and I'd definitely recommend you do the same if you can. It's also been suggested here to identify the features/setups you're interested in, also great advice. I settled...

Pic of new single stack Glock 9mm leaked (G43). Seriously this time

Yeah, I don't get this. The gun, I mean. I don't get it. How much are you saving in weight and size that people are waiting to go back to single stack?

    Bump in the night loadout?

Did you read the OP? Because it feels like you didn't read the OP. Or this bit: "the load out I'm realistically looking at is pistol (loaded with a mag) + 2 spare mags + pepper spray + phone" I pitched the question and am open to suggestions. Please reserve the judgement and be constructive...

    Bump in the night loadout?

I could think of a lot of things. You've got it a bit better with 17 rounds, but here in ban-o-rama-land I'm stuck with 10. I also have an attached light, so I've basically got the same setup with half the capacity. I practice a lot, but I don't assume I'm going to make the same hits under...

    Bump in the night loadout?

I too live in a fairly liberal area, and could even be labeled such myself *gasp* I keep pepper spray with my pistol. I like having both options to end conflicts without loss of life or escalate as necessary. But, that's one less hand. 10 rounds in the gun is not much. I'd like to keep...

    Bump in the night loadout?

I think the plate carrier is right out. I'm sure many can be fast to put on but that's still a lot more time than it takes to just pick something up. Would a backpack do? My range bag has Molle webbing on it that I could probably do a good number of mags across the front. The issue I see...

    Bump in the night loadout?

As I've begun to accumulate more firearms clutter designed to respond to that "bump in the night" there's something that has sort of been on my mind- Where am I supposed to put all this stuff? If I wake up in the middle of the night concerned enough to retrieve a firearm, I'm not going to...

I picked up my new HK VP9.

Heres my $0.02: Have had this for a few months now, shoot it VERY frequently (about 400 rounds a week). Well over 2k rounds now. Zero malfunctions. I like it a lot. Grip/trigger are the best parts, the gun sits and points so naturally. The charging supports are kinda cool, overhand...
