    Looking for new cleaning kit

I use a 3 tray tackle box and a single pistol cleaning kit from Winchester. I have all kinds of calibers and in shotgun only 12ga. Have a good Tipton rod for rifles and brass rod for pistols bore brushes all mixed up, a caliber specific jag set and the old jags like threading a needle type...

List of my guns for wife

Just have a good description and the value of each and tell her its in the safe. Never let a wife know how much you have in firearms or the combo to the safe, possible bad outcomes : divorce, wanting to spend an equal amount of money on her junk (women don't understand guns go up in value), are...

    Leaning Towards a Springfield 9mm XDM-Elite

I have and older 40 xdm and a newer 9mm xdm with fiber optic sights, no problems from either one, will probably sell the 40 one day just to eliminate that caliber from my reloading, but the 9mm is a range favorite wife and son shoot it a lot. Very comfortable grip good sights never jams, these...

    Reloading 7.62x39 for an AK

I just wish I could load fmj bullets cheaper than i could buy steel case ammo. I can load it for the same price as steel , been thinking of ditching ak and ammo and switch to 300bo.

Keep .280 Rem or sell for something else?

keep the 280, the other calibers you mentioned have nothing over the 280. It's a long action so what how often are you firing more than one shot. Reloading makes all the calibers you listed equally available 280 brass is easy to find or make, use the money you saved by keeping the 280 and...

    Starting 9mm, have some questions

I would go with win 231 it is the easier powder to find during shortages and work with lot of pistol calibers a good powder to keep on hand in quantity. Different brand bullets shaped differently will have different lengths, use your tightest fitting 9mm chamber and do a plunk test,

    9mm 1911 ,who would want one ?

I love 1911 pistols, I have 38 super, 45acp and 9mm, the 9mm is cheaper to shoot less recoil and my wife's favorite. I shoot the 9mm more than the others because of having more 9mm ammo

Reloading really is becoming a labor of love

My cost for 62gr fmj hornady reloads at today prices is .333 cent per round, its better ammo than bulk NATO, brass free. Purchase components when hazmat is free and in bulk. Some calibers are a lot cheaper to reload, 45LC, 38 super are 2 calibers that got me into reloading.

Question for Beretta Bobcat 21A 22LR owners.

with no extractor I always go with the hotter 22 rounds, low velocity stuff tends to jam.

Stupid way to get hurt, I wonder if he had someone hold his beer. Lucky he did not get shrapnel in the face or molted plastic.

    Taurus Model 66

I gave up on taurus firearms years ago. I had a beretta copy model 99? and a taurus 66 never had a problem with either of them they were older guns purchased very late 80's or early 90's. It seams like those were the golden years for quality taurus guns. I had 2 other taurus guns so bad I got...
