I guess what I was really asking is how much should I expect to pay for a quality example. Having matching parts commands a premium but its not necessary to me. Thanks for the Pics JD those DSA STG-58 that pop up on aim surplus sound really good It appears I'd have to check their site several...
$1250? $1500? It will be my SHTF/Range gun and nothing more. I've also read that buying a "metric" one is better because of parts availability, what else should I look for? I see that DSA has a turnaround time of 4 months which is unacceptable for me at this moment.
Hmm maybe I was reading threads on the old ones? One person's didn't have a threaded barrel and a few had a nut welded onto theirs.
Any who thanks a lot.
Your right. What the hell was I thinking?
If you guys had to rank them where would you rank a converted Saiga with a WASR 10/63? The fact your stuck with the stock takes out the Hungarian for me. I'm unsure of what it means for me whether or not the barrel is threaded but apparently it isn't...
The WASR is very attractive, the only thing that discounts it for me is that it doesnt have a chrome lined barrel. I've decided this is what I want to go with last night. That puts my sights the likes of Saigas, Bulgarians, and the Hungarian FEG AMD 65(thoughts?). I'm sure there are others(still...
Not only in experience with semi auto rifles but firearms in general. I'd like to learn about all the parts, the different companies and what makes one example higher quality than another one etc. In the next 2-3 months I'll be making my purchase it will be a designated Target practice/SHTF gun...
I decided to purchase a complete upper and complete lower but wanted to know if I'd be better off with a Stag complete lower or a RRA complete lower. I heard nothing but good things about Stag but haven't really heard anything about RRA? The upper will probably be Stag.
Edit: Nevermind, found...
I would like to know as well. I hear things like this all the time and that AR's of this quality cant be used for anymore then going to the range which makes me stray from them.
