My wife and I both have Browning 1911-380s, but I also have an RIA M1911-A2 that I really love. I'd love to know how different the polymer 1911-380 and all-steel Baby Rock feel.
I finally got around to picking up a new-style Ruger Charger. I got the non-takedown model. I really like the traditional wood look combined with the A2 style grip and the top rail. Slapped my spare Bushnell Trophy 1x28 red dot on it. It's just as much fun as I expected it to be. Rest the bipod...
UPDATE: I shot the Nighthawk at the local range last Friday night. I was pleased how well it worked. I had no malfunctions running three different brands of JRN ammo through it. The tiny ghost-ring rear sight looked pretty sketchy to me, but in practice it worked fine. I was at a 25-yard indoor...
Thirty-two ago, I was about to get out of the Army. I hadn't grown up around guns, but since enlisting, I had shot a lot of firearms that belonged to Uncle and various buddies in my unit. I figured I should get some sort of neat-o bangstick to take back with me into civilian life, while I was...
Just to follow up, my 731 is truly a sweetheart of a gun. DA trigger is impressive for the price, and its accuracy has surprised me. The adjustable sights came dialed in perfectly (for me at least). The .32 Long has so little recoil I can happily shoot it all day. True, it has limited...
I don't recall if this has been posted here already, but I just picked up 60 rounds of Buffalo Bore #10B hardcast wadcutter .32 Long rounds from Cheaper Than Dirt. I went back and re-read their webpage for this round, and I thought it might be of interest to the people in this thread, since...
I would have happily bought it in .32 Magnum if available, but it isn't offered. The whole point of this gun was something to save my damaged wrist from my .38 Special LCR.
Finally got a chance to take my new Czechpoint/Alfa Proj 731 [3" barrel/.32 Long] to the range Friday night. It might just be my new favorite revolver. Admittedly my Single Nine has a higher level of workmanship, but the Alfa offers the option of DA shooting, which I think makes for a more...
One thing to keep in mind is that the .327 and 9mm LCRs are built on the .357's all-steel frame and weigh about 25% more than the partial alloy .38 Special version. I carry in an ankle holster and the lighter weight has really spoiled me!
Just to update my experience with the Charter Arms Undercoverette, I sold it in August, 16 months after I bought it. 1) It was much heavier than my .38 LCR, which has remained my main carry gun. 2) It was stunningly inaccurate. The non-adjustable sights were so far off that aiming at the...
Well, I bought my Alfa Proj 731 (3" .32 S&W Long) through the Czechpoint website last night — $290.00 plus $15 shipping (plus $20 to my FFL, of course). Cheaper than I've found it on auction sites.
Very excited to try it. I think this is the second time I've ever bought a weapon without so...
Czechpoint USA has the 3" and 4" version in stock. You can buy them through their website and they'll ship to your local FFL for $20. I'm currently debating which one I want.

Just bought a Sig P238 "Sports 12." Hogue Rubber Grips, TFO Tritium Fiber Optic Front Night Sight and Tritium rear sight. Flush and extended magazines.
Currently waiting for it to arrive at my FFL.
